Hachi Express Steak & Seafood — Restaurant in Walhalla

I’ve always enjoyed this place never really cared to check them on their prices, until today. Went thru the drive-thru ordered ice water and a steak and chicken plate on the menu board read $13.99 for it. The lady told me my total was $19 and change?? I gave her my card and it took a second to register and when it did I told her through the half open window I didn’t think it was the correct order. She ran my card for it and must’ve given me a refund. Without saying anything to me. Then proceeded to charge me $17 and change I questioned her again she turned away and wouldn’t make eye contact. But this time made sure to completely close the window after me trying to tell her one last time. Then was “on the phone” handing me my food while I hand my signed receipt to her. She rolls her eyes and closes the window yet again so I can’t speak to anyone.

I will add this is Great food. The customer service and overcharge I received today was TERRIBLE.

With all that being said just please double check them and question their charges bc the receipt had ZERO description it was a $15.78 charge...

I ordered through doordash online. I ordered 3 meals and an egg roll. One of the meals and the egg roll was left out. I called the store to let them know this and they told me that the delivery driver stole it. Ok fine, I told them I still needed what I paid for to be replaced. They said fine come to the store to get it. I sent my husband to pick it up and they told him I would have to report it to doordash to have it replaced! They did not mention that over the phone or i would have done that before i sent my husband up there. Will not be ordering...

The food from Hachi is always cooked fresh and is very good. The reason for 4 stars and not five is due to the small amount of broccoli given and seems to be they make up for that with an overload of rice and though the rice is good there's a limit to how much I want in my meal. Also,I would prefer an itemized receipt as I'm pretty sure I was charged the price of a meal for what should've been the price of...
