Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Walker

I sent an email on the day of the incident, but I haven't received a response yet. Therefore, I am resorting to using this platform.

On 10/04/2024, I placed an online order for two chicken sandwiches, two large red beans, and a large Mac and Cheese to store number #632 at 7:26 pm 28710 Walker road south Walker, La 70785 225-791-6000. When I got to the drive-thru speaker, I was told they didn’t have any chicken sandwiches or Mac and cheese, so I had to cancel my mobile order. I told Keirstyn that I wasn't able to cancel my order and that payment was already taken, so I asked her how I can get a refund. I also let her know that I still wanted to place an order, and she seemed surprised. After some discussion, I was informed that to get my money back, I should call customer service.

I ended up purchasing a 5-piece mild tender combo with fries and a lemonade with two BBQ sauces, but I didn't receive the sauces, and I was told they didn't have lemonade, so I chose a Sprite instead. Additionally, I ordered a 3-piece whole wing combo with fries and Sprite, as well as two large red beans.

When I got home and gave the food to my kids, my son took a bite of his tender and nearly choked on a piece of plastic. Upon inspecting the tender, I found a large piece of plastic...

This Popeyes location is the WORST. Love other locations but I’ve had way too many bad experiences at this location finally decided to review. They will shut down cooking WAY before closing time and straight up ignore customers in drive thru in hopes people will just give up and go home which is usually what I end up doing! I understand there’s a cut off point but when you pull up to a drive through over an hour before they close and they “out” and have “shut the fryers down”. Seems a little pointless to stay open that late when there’s never any food which means no buisness. And always!!! Get a fountain drink that is just terrible bc they never change the syrup. Even over heard a manager cussing out a employee while waiting in the drive thru once bc they left their mic on. Food always takes forever and is usually not correct or poor quality. There are a few decent people that work there but most are careless and provide poor service. Wish this location had better service bc I usually enjoy...

Went there today 1/19/18 around 11am, ordered 5 of the $5 box specials and 2of the 5 piece tender combos,while sitting at the window the girl Kimberly that had taken our order begins telling another employee that all those boxes were ridiculous. At first we thought maybe we had misunderstood,then as they were finishing boxing up our meals and after she had taken our payment,she tells this other employee that the 12 piece meal would have been cheaper. First and foremost we paid over $50 for these meals and if doing her job was so hard maybe she find employment elsewhere. Second if she were educated enough to do the math a 12 piece special wouldn't have given us enough sides to feed all we had to feed without having to add the tenders as well of more sides making our total even more. I tried calling right after leaving and throughout the day but no-one ever answered as not only was her comments disturbing to us but two of our boxes were not correct.
