Waffle House — Restaurant in Walker

I've been coming to this Waffle House for approximately 8 years now since I first moved into the Walker area. It had always been the best Waffle House in the universe according to my opinion. However, one Saturday I came in early March (about 2 weeks ago), to enjoy my usually excellent experience, only to not be greeted by anyone when I walked in. Normally, someone would always greet me and my family and offer us a table, so I assumed this was the way of the business. After waiting 20 minutes I finally asked am I supposed to just choose a table. One of the workers behind the counter yelled yes, and I responded wow I didn't know, I've been sitting here a while. Her response was that she thought I was waiting on someone, but she didn't ask, and they don't give you tables. So I sat down and she carried on to the server that would wait on me that I was very angry and was waiting on someone to cater to me and was just carrying on. I felt insulted to the point that I got up and said I wasn't going to continue to sit there as a worker talks badly about me, the customer. I was so utterly disappointed. So many years wasted. Too bad for the server too because I tip well, being it was one of my favorite places to visit, I always wanted the workers to be well taken care of, but she missed out in good money because of her loud mouth coworker. First of all, I gotta find my receipt (as soon as I do I will make sure she gets the credit) because unfortunately I forgot our waitress's name :( but she was amazing! She was very patient with us. It's been YEARS since we've been there. So it took us (me) a while to order. She was super polite and seemed very appreciative that we showed her the same respect, that she showed us. Once we ordered it didn't take no time for our food to arrive. My youngest son doesn't like butter on his waffles (which he order 2 and asked for no butter) she placed his first waffle in front of him, with the little butter cup on top of it. He asked what it was, she said it's butter, then said I know you asked for no butter, and then basically said she has to serve it like that. Which my son was happy that she remembered. She kept checking up on us. I wish more waitresses were like her! She didn't have an additude like a lot of servers have. We enjoyed our whole experience!!!!!! It was great from start to finish!!!! Even if for some reason I can't edit this review, I write a new one to make sure she gets her praise and credit, especially since with our experience today, she definitely deserves it! We will request her again anytime we go there and I'll make sure our friends even ask for her!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 out of 5...

Great customer service. Everyone greets me with a warm, "Welcome to Waffle House." Fast, friendly grill operators help by communicating with their clientele, in order to cook to each individuals personal preference. Also, Waffle House' management team will go above and beyond to assist and lend guidance to their crew, with helpful tips and tricks of the trade. This is a spectacular restaurant to take your children to dine. All little ones love to their hash browns scattered, covered, and chunked, or scattered, capped, covered, and topped. Or, however else they can think of, to make food fun and any dinner, a great night out with family. Bottom line... This really is an excellent place to get "Good Food Fast" Thank you, Mr. Forkner, And Mr. Rogers.
