The food is good but it’s very generic in my opinion like it wasn’t something that was out of this world - it was good though I had the birria tacos - the tortillas were a little burnt so it did change the flavor which sucked - the atmosphere is not very welcoming again basic nothing very welcoming - the service was great the waiter and another lady came to check on us which is what a lot of other restaurants do not have and it’s good that they were checking on us to make sure we are okay which counts! I would come back and try something new for sure just hope they can do something to change it up and get more people to come do an event of some sort to help!! Frederick doesn’t really have events and places that stay open late so this place has potential to do it! I hope they can!! The price was not bad either very normal for what...
Read moreWe were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. The cleanliness was superb. It looks like there was a fresh coat of paint on the walls and the floor was very clean as well. The chips and salsa were great. The salsa was homemade and the chips were fresh and warm. My hubby got the steak fajitas $18 which he enjoyed. (See photo; that's steam coming off the food and hot plate) The steak was a little tough but the flavor was good; also served on a hot plate. The refried beans were the best we ever tasted; made in house not from a can. I got the ribeye and vegetables $25. The steak was tender and seasoned well. The veggies were hearty and well cooked (carrots, squash, zucchini and potatoes) I would definitely recommend. Our waitress was very friendly and her mother worked in the kitchen. Our bill was a little over $50...
Read moreProbably the best Mexican food in Frederick. Random for a little place in Walkersville, but my husband and I both agree, it’s better than any place else we go locally! Chips, amazing. They use a seasoning and I’m not sure what it is but it’s citrusy and savory and addictive. It’s delicious. I could come here for the chips and plantains alone. But tonight, I had tacos- the Al pastor and birria pollo. Al pastor was my favorite, so flavorful and yummy! The sauce on the side is a great touch too. The birria tacos are great, although I preferred the Al pastor. But I was also getting full by the time I got to that 😂. My husband had the chicken burrito and crushed it. Barely talked while he ate, and that’s always a good sign.
Margaritas were on point too! And service is always great.
