China Wok — Restaurant in Walkersville

It's been many years I've been to China Wok. Unless things have drastically changed, I was shocked at some of the negative comments. I used to go for lunch a lot when I worked in Frederick. I was NEVER disappointed nor did I ever get a poorly tasting dish. Sometimes on my was home I would pick up a carry out order for my wife and kids. My wife is very picky about restaurant food, but she truly enjoyed their great tasty food. I felt that their service was prompt even when they were very busy. Paid for shrimp, got chicken - Disappointed when we got home with our food to find the two orders of sweet and sour shrimp, were actually chicken (live 11miles away so we of course did not drive back). We have been a customer for many years, so next visit ( today-told owner and they made excuse that "easy to mix up due to breading (wrong answer shrimp shaped differently even when breaded) and apologized, but offered nothing more, so I asked about a coupon for next time (said they do not have one). Haven’t been here in probably ten years, but we moved to the area and it’s super convenient now. Pretty solid experience, honestly. Soups were tasty, lo mein was really good. Don’t know where the negative comments are coming from. All the veg were steam-crisp, there was lots of flavor and it wasn’t too expensive. Love that nothing was too salty.
