Cajun Crab — Restaurant in Wallingford

I used to love this place. I work nearby and they were always prompt with their delivery and their food was great. I even got my coworkers turned onto Yummy. A bunch of my coworkers and I got together and ordered lunch from them as usual. I called and placed my order, they called back to tell me their had been a problem with my card, then charged me double for one meal. When the delivery driver came, I brought it to his attention and he said they would void the second transaction. I opened my food, and had California rolls in my meal (when I ordered, I specifically told them only tuna and salmon sushi... as I am allergic to shellfish). I caped back and informed the employee that I cannot eat my lunch since it has been cross contanimated. They said they would bring me a replacement and that I could keep the original, which I threw away due to not being able to eat any of it. They returned promptly, but only gave me 6 salmon rolls... I have now paid $16 for salmon rolls and miso soup. There was supposed to be tuna and salmon sushi as well as the 6 rolls in my meal. I called back to ask about the mishap, was hung up on twice, then finally when I called back the third time the woman who answered said the driver would return with my now third meal. The driver returned, got in my face (in front of my clients and coworkers), demanded I dig the first meal out of the garbage and give it to him. He had no other replacement, and he said that unless I went through the garbage he would not give me a refund either. I ended up having to tell him to leave my place of employment (a private school for special education) as he was making a scene in front of my students and was saying if I didn't go get the old food, he would. Needless to say, I along with every single employee at that school will no longer be ordering from Yummy anymore. That was the worst customer service I have ever...

My husband and I seem to like to order out on Monday's...especially after a busy weekend. We went to our usual spot but found that it decided to start closing on Mondays. We found this place by a Google search. Pictures looked good so we decided to give it a try not to mention we were celebrating our daughter's acceptance into an agricultural high school program. Small quaint little place with very kind staff. It was BYOB and all we can say is the food was absolutely amazing!! We got some sushi appetizers, miso soup fried rice, fried cheesecake and sashimi. Our 13 year old daughter could not get enough of their salmon sashimi which she's had a lot but she said this one by far was the best and she couldn't stop eating it. Please do yourself a favor and stop in. Support this local business it's really fantastic and we hope to see...

Great food! Unlimited all you can eat and the quality of food is just amazing. Ever heard the "you get what you pay for" saying??? Well not the case here. Beer budget but you get champagne! The food is fresh and tasteful! And actual food is included in that. From fried rice 🍚 to sushi 🍣. And the service; let's talk about the service! Great. Awesome. Quick. And very helpful! Explaining everything to make sure you're getting what you're thinking. They do takeout. I haven't tried that yet but can't imagine the quality in the food would change much. After all it's just put in a different container right? If you're looking for something cheap, quick and delicious, this is the place for you. And if you don't like sushi, no worries.
