I had never been to Sonic's before. Growing up they weren't in our area. It was about 10pm on Sunday 8-4 and I was going to DoorDash an order but I needed milk anyway so I hit the drive-thru at about 10:35pm. Having never been there before I told the cashier as much and I pulled up my doordash order so I didn't have to try and find everything on the menu in an attempt to make things easier. I was told they were out of chili. I tried to order an All-American combo (maybe that's not the right name because the guy acted like he didn't know what I was talking about). I asked for a milkshake. I was told that they were getting ready to close (in 20 minutes) and most of the stuff on the menu was unavailable. I asked about the cheddar and jalapeno bites, no. Ice cream? No. A hamburger, which I thought for sure I'd be able to get. No. I politely said maybe I will try again another day. After reading all the recent comments they all complain about the same thing. Lack of attentive service in the evening hours. I hope the franchise owners read the comments and take a look at their evening schedule or at the very least are red flagged by lagging profits during their weekend evening hours which should be incredibly busy. Employees like that will kill a business. I wasn't going to leave a review but on the way home stopped at Cumberland farms right down the street to grab a hot dog. When I got to the register I mention that I had tried to get a hot dog at Sonic's and before I could finish my sentence the cashier told me Google may tell you they're open until 11:00 but those kids shut the place down at 10:00.    Read moreI usually donât spend time for a review unless is a five star review! Itâs fear to let the business know that they are doing well and deserve a a good review and let customers know about. Unfortunately this is not the case. My kids love SONIC, we are from West Hartford so we donât mind travel 40 mimutes to this place that we have been many times. on Thursday, octubre 31st at 2:36 pm we place an order online for food drinks and shakes we arrived 5 minutes after we placed the order. We parked on spot 12 and we let them know that we were there it took 45 minutes to get our order, the food was cold, the fries extremely salty and the shakes very watery without any toppings or whipped cream and one was missing, also we could tell the difference all looked the same and no taste at all. I ask one of the ladies that work there if they could change the shakes and with an attitude she said THATS HOW THEY COME! I CANT DO ANYTHING. We ended up throwing everything at the garbage, almost $50 dollars order went in to the trash. Sad to see a lot of restaurants going out of business only because at this time the employees donât care any more about the place that keeps them getting a pay check every week, thatâs all it matters for them the check and forget about the restaurant or be able to give the best service possible to keep that business alive for longer.    Read moreWriting a review of a fast food restaurant feels a lot like screaming into the void but after months of terrible service I have to do SOMETHING. First off this location hasnât had slushes in God knows how long. Iâve been trying to order a slush on the app for weeks and every time I pick any slush itâs always listed as unavailable. I figured this must be an app glitch so I finally just go to the location to order in person. Sat at the car port for 20 minutes and nothing. Iâve had this experience several times at this location so I pull into the drive through where there is one other car at the window. Pull up to the speaker and see a sign that the slush machine is broken. The fact that itâs been broken that long is down right shameful but the part that pissed me off to the point of no return is that I sat at that speaker box for several minutes without so much as a ââweâll be with you in a moment.â Clearly sonic does not care at all since I can see similar reviews spanning back a few months and operations have not changed a bit.
