We were the only family charged an automatic gratuity by the manager. But we were also the only African American family there as well. The owner explanation was that the menu stares for a party of six or more automatic gratuity is charged but there was only five of us. He could not explain any other reason she would have done that. That was beyond offensive as we always tip where wherever we go as long as service is good. She assumed because we were black we were not going to tip. That was just pure racism Today we went back and the same Manager added something to our check that we were told prior was no charge. However; that is not the problem it was only an extra $8 it was the way she pretty much did the same thing. The server stated she tried to remove the charge but the manager would not allow her to. The manager would not come to our table and as we were talking to the server she walked by and yelled to the server “ rudely “ just comp that charge and that’s it. And kept walking with an appearant attitude. We explained to the owner the charge was not the issue” money is not the issue” racism, treating people differently according to nationality and poor customer service was the issue. The manager even told the servers not to give out her name so we couldn’t report the incident to IHOP. I do not recommend nor will I ever return to that IHOP again. Shame on...
Read moreMy wife and I went to this IHOP and used each of our own individual accounts to redeem our pan coins for curbside pickup. We do know that only 1 pan coin redemption can be made per day per account and also the app does not allow you to redeem 2 pan coin orders in the first place.
When we arrived at the curbside and called the restaurant and told the employee we have 2 different pick up order, they stated one was ready and the other was not. We decided to go inside to pick up instead but the same lady that we spoke with over the phone stated that we cannot get 2 pan coin redeemed orders under the same name. I stated it was not under the same name and she turned the bags to look at the names clearly showing 2 different names and said you cannot redeem it because we have the same last name even though it was 2 different accounts and 2 different pan coin redeemed. She then stated that the owner is there and said it was okay this one time and not do it again.
We went back to our car and called corporate to confirm this policy of not begin able to pick up 2 pan coin redeemed order from 2 separate account but with same last name and the corporate employee stated that was not a thing and that as long as it was different accounts it was fine.
I’m giving 2 stars just because they gave us the food but iHOP, please train your employees...

The fact that your lobby is still closed is absolutely ridiculous. It makes absolutely no sense at all. You had me waiting out in the freezing cold all winter and now waiting out in the heat.
I will no longer be patronizing this business.
There are many small businesses around that actually have COMMON SENSE and COURTESY.
The employees have also gotten rude. The general manager is AWFUL.

Have been here a couple of times this month and service has been great and the food has been delicious. Love their hot chocolate. They basically serve it in a soup bowl with lots of whip cream. For breakfast I love their Breakfast Sampler. It comes with two eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns, toast, and pancakes. It’s great if you’re wanting a bit of everything.
