Update...
We were always happy with everything here. Last two times here we had to sit at a table. Service was slow. This time service was non existent. Took our drink order, we asked to order food, but we're told she needed a pad. Came back with incorrect drinks and no pad. Took our order anyway. We were there for an hour, that's the last time we saw our waitress after she brought food. Our drinks were empty for 30 minutes at least. 4 employees, bar was full, but it's not that big. 5 tables with people. Only one larger party of 6 or 7. We would have had more drinks and maybe more food. But after having to wait 15 minutes to track someone down for our bill, we decided to leave. I hope service goes back to what it was.
My husband and I have been going here for years. The staff is really attentive. The manager goes out of his way to say hi to us. He remembers who we are when if it's months in between visits. The food is really good. And they have the best wings around. They are also very reasonably priced for food and drinks. ...
Read moreI have been going to double play since they opened, but now they are denying me service because of an issue with my wife. I have been a loyal customer and now I feel discriminated towards. I went down there to speak with Bill and I felt that everything was settled. Then come to find out everything we spoke about was not taken seriously. If we are going to speak like men than at least keep your word. It’s embarrassing to be told that you can’t be there after I am halfway through finishing a drink. Why did you serve me in the first place. I will take the proper steps to litigate against them for refusing to serve me based on here say...
Read moreI think there are two questions about this place. 1, how is the atmosphere? 2, What is a steamed cheeseburger. The atmosphere is pretty fun. Noise levels are great for conversation unless the jukebox is playing. Good selection of beers and good food. I had the potato skins and a steamed cheeseburger. The steamed cheeseburger was better than I figured. The steaming process seems to foam up the cheese and create a viscous gooey cheese which coats the tongue. Some may complain it makes salt flavors more pronounced.I think if you can stand a bit of a salty cheese on the most tender meat you will ever try, give this...
