Artie's Countrywood Lounge — Restaurant in Walnut Creek

BEWARE!!! People who are of color are not welcomed here! I have never been treated so badly at a business in my entire life. I went to the bar to order a drink and get some change. The bartender a white woman, didn’t say hi, didn’t smile… all she said with an attitude was vaccination and ID. I was taken aback since I had been there for almost an hour already. I then said, well all I want is a club soda and some change, she said look I ain’t serving you nothing before you show me your vac and ID. Then she said I was yelling, I told her I am not yelling, I’m just trying to make sure you can hear me over the music. Then another white woman sitting at the bar said, you need to show your card or she ain’t go serve you! I said ok and walked away to get my information. When I came back I stood there while she served three drinks and then looked at me… The woman sitting at the bar then said to a man sitting next to her, we will all back her up, we ain’t scared! I started laughing because I knew she was referring to me. Then while while holding my vax and ID I said are you ready? She said NO! And walked away. Wow! Service sucks here and then they prompt you for 22%+ tip on lousy counter service. I've been here five times in the past two months and the bartenders are very slow waiting on you and then with bad attitudes expecting 30% tips. The bartenders are always complaining instead of coming over to you at the bar top asking about what you want to drink when you have been waiting ten minutes. Typical bar for walnut creek; a place the younger locals like to refer to as a dive bar, which always causes me to snicker.
