I work for a law firm in Walnut Creek, and we have a ton of office parties at work to celebrate everyone's birthdays. (#lovemyjob) The day starts with a pick-up of fresh bagels from Noah's and I'm usually the one to grab the box of a baker's dozen from their Countrywood location. The line can be a few people deep but it moves fast and I love the employees here.
I always get warm, friendly smiles to go with my hot, delicious bagels. Fresh juice and a couple of shmear flavors to complete my order! Especially kind in the mornings has been Tony, but I really enjoy all of their hard workers. This store is always clean and usually has a few customers enjoying their food at the tables inside.

Love their bagels. I like "everything" bagels - with sesame, poppy, onion, garlic, caraway, and I think salt. Though, that's hard to find and I'm not positive Noah's add it. Their onion bagel is great too.
Big parking lot, though, it does get crowded.
$2.65 for a bagel, toasted with cream cheese.
Note - for a cheaper bagel (no toaster) -- there's a Safeway in the same parking lot and their bakery is great too. But it's definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe bagels were OK. Chewy/doughy and not overly flavorful. You can tell that it's a chain shop. I can tell you right now that if you're from NJ/NY it's not gonna be like from home.
The woman at the register was very kind and patient taking our order. The resturaunt itself is clean and well-maintained. They have a lot to choose from and 2 large menu boards to view those choices.
However, they forgot 4 bagels. When we tried to point it out, we weren't given the rest of our order (which was on the receipt/ paid for). The bagels here are pretty expensive so it's dissapointing. Ya hate to see it.
Probably won't go back to a Noah's if I'm on the west coast and in the mood for a bagel. Their other offerings- coffee, etc. - might be good, though....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEver since I moved to west coast, I have been dreaming about my delicious New York Bagels. They are usually so big, cheap and so good. So far, I have been quite disappointed by the bagels here. I heard from other east coast friends that Noah is pretty much the one that shows some resemblance to the quality of New York Bagels. Therefore, I was here to give it a test bite.
I had their Cinnamon Raisin bagel and Chocolate Chip Bagel. They are smaller and more expensive at $1.25 a piece. The texture is not exactly bagel but more in between bread and bagel. I am disappointed but I do like their customer service, their variety and their delicious cream cheese spread.
This would be my temporary fix until I can get my hand on my NYC bagels and lox...
