I can't say enough good things about Poke House. It's a little slice of tropical heaven right in the heart of Walnut Creek. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a fresh, vibrant atmosphere that instantly transports you to a beachside paradise.

The quality of the ingredients here is absolutely top-notch. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the variety of toppings and sauces allows you to create your dream poke bowl. I'm a regular, and I love trying out different combinations every time. The customization is a major plus, and the portion sizes are generous.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They're always happy to help you choose your ingredients and offer recommendations if you're feeling adventurous. The service is fast, and my food has never taken long to prepare.

Felt a little awkward. It was my first time and when I approached the counter, the man just stared at me silently. I finally had to ask "what's the magic word to get started?" and he just pointed at the menu on the wall behind me. I then asked about the differences between the sizes and again, I got the wall.

The second time I was there, I wanted two scoops of Tuna and one scoop of octopus. The same man was there and he kept asking me if I want crab? After my third time of saying no, he gave me three scoops of Tuna.

The employees also seem to rush you through the additional fixings station. Like there's not a second to lose as I try to think about what I want to add. There was just me and my daughter there so not like there was a rush...

Very happy this place opened up in Walnut Creek, the bowls are great. I do a large bowl with sushi rice, 2 scoops of crab, spicy tuna, salmon, and tuna. You can either pick from some pre-made poke with sauce, or select fish and add your own sauce and mix ins. I do both in my bowl. They have all the standard mix ins and then some, as well as plenty of sauces. I mix several of the sauces usually. I am never disappointed with my food here and love the crab mix.
