The onion rings lacked salt - this was the only positive thing I can say.
There was only 1/2 of 1 container of ranch. 1 chicken salad, 2 onion rings and 1 chicken sandwich were ordered.
Our order was placed 40 minutes before our scheduled pickup time. Curbside delivery took around 10 minutes (from responding to the text to the food arriving) - I observed no one going in or coming out from our arrival to when we left. We were the only curbside customer for the first 8 minutes. So, I would venture a guess they were not busy.
The salad had very little bacon, no blue cheese, very little chicken was present and was almost entirely lettuce.
The chicken sandwich tasted burnt all the way through. Portions of the chicken were as thin as chicken/turkey skin. The amount of chicken was maybe 70% the size of the bread.
Frankly, we will likely never go to this location again. Thankfully, there are other locations nearby.
Update: Habit did reach out on November 16 offering to make the situation right. I responded on November 21.
The gentleman's name is Chris L.
Since then........................ crickets. Not even a follow-up email and nothing in the mail (ie. char tickets).
Do this company NOT want my money? I guess that I'll just go to Five Guys and/or Carl's Jr instead.
Update (2020.12.10): Despite the district manager being included on the email from Habit, absolutely nothing has changed - I did send over all information they requested.
So, if you have a bad experience, get ready for lip service and smoke blown up your backside.
Frankly, if I have 1 more bad experience from any Habit, I'll just stop going there and instead go to Five Guys.
I truly wish I could make this a 0 star review - it has been earned.
Update (2020.12.28): I received the promised 'Char Tickets' in the mail.
I am grateful that the promise was followed through. I will give Habit another try, but not at the Walnut Creek location because of everything that occurred - it was just too egregious on multiple levels.
I consider this...
Read moreThis was my first and last experience in a Habit Burger Grill.
I visited this location on 5/21/21 to order a hamburger with no onions and fries for takeout. Not only to I dislike onions but I also cannot eat them due to a medical dietary restriction.
The location was extremely disorganized. The kitchen staff seemed to be putting up orders somewhat quickly and the front counter staff seemed to have no idea how to manage it. There were takeout orders piled up on the counter. It became apparent why when someone, who had been waiting for the few to be brought to his vehicle, came in and asked about his order. It was one of the many on the counter. This resulted in a few other customers who were expecting the orders to be brought to their vehicles to come in.
When I received my order I did not think to check it because I just wanted to get out of the madness. After a ways home I opened my order and it had onions on it. Since my dietary restriction is medically based this rendered the order completely worthless. I attempted to call the location to see what my options were, but I was not connected with someone at the location. I got a message stating I had to report an issue in their website. What an absolutely ridiculous way to handle the incompetence of this staff.
I was left without a meal that day thanks to the order being, dangerously, messed up and the overall customer service failure by the Habit Grill corporate staff. I won’t be back to...
Read moreMy husband and I just had the worst experience from the manager Eldia at the location on Geary and Main. I will give no stars for Service because none are worthy. We ordered a few chicken salads in which one of them had no chicken. This Manager was the rudest to us. She treated us as if it was our fault that they didn't include the chicken on the salad. She said we would have to pay extra for the chicken. I said that's not really a peoblem but you're treating us like we made the mistake. The enployees made the error, so you are responsible. She told us that she didn't make an error. We told her it really wasn't fair, the error was made by an employee. This person never apologized that the error was made and told us she didn't care if we made a complaint about her. We asked for a refund she told us no. My husband explained to her how her attitude towards us was wrong and we left. So much more than I can tell you happened, but the whole experience left us never wanting to buy food from The Habit again. We will definitely take the issue up the the chain. The problem wasn't about the money, but the principle, and the terrible attitude. We never raised our voices and never used any profanity while explaining how we felt, but she continued to be rude. Like I said she never even apologized for the mistake even after we mentioned it to her. People with no regard for the customer should not be in management. She was totally...
