Honestly, the experience we had here was so bad. I’ve never written a low review, but avoid this place until management either retrains the workers in front or gets new help.
I understand customer service sucks, and it’s also hard to find the right people to help at that wage.
Been there, done that.
However, the young lady cashier and young gentleman helping in the back, did not respect themselves or those at the establishment. They did not want to be there, let everyone know it, and were so rude to my 10 year old kiddo.
He saved up money he worked for, helping someone in the family who had major surgery this summer, to buy his first boba. What was supposed to be a moment of fun and excitement, a reward for his kindness, was quickly ruined.
I wish I had just asked for his money back and left the store to teach him another lesson, if you catch my drift.
We passed by a different boba store, and I apologized to him, saying we should have gone there instead; I wanted to experience to be different.
“Maybe they wouldn’t have been so rude, there?” He suggested. 😆
I wish the business owners the best. I also wish the best for the snarky helpers.
The curtain between the cashier and worker in back is not a sound barrier. Customers can hear you.
(No amount of cool touch screen ordering devices on the wall can replace a good human experience.)
Be nice to us ugly and uncool customers. This may be you in 20 years.
Hold yourself to higher standards. Build up your boss’s business, or go do something else. Once upon a time, you wanted that job?
Do your best at everything you do. See the numbers you serve, yes, but also the humanity...
Read moreIn general, I like T4. They have a wide selection of drinks, you can customize sweetness and ice, and there's a pretty good food menu too. The food always takes longer than the drinks, but that's due to the prep work.
Today, I had a strange anomaly of an experience. There was a young man working at the register, and my interaction with him was disappointing. He was doing his best to be attentive and meticulous, yet came off as stressed. He mumbled when speaking, which made it difficult to hear him. When I noticed my drink order came out wrong on the receipt, he fixed it right away. When I saw that the drinks came in the wrong size, his response was, "I repeated back to you the order; I guess you didn't hear me." Then, one of our food orders was forgotten, and when my husband asked about it, he said, "Did you order fried tofu?" Again, we showed our receipt and had our order fixed (although, I have to say, there was far much less tofu in my order than usual). Here's the deal: I am fine with the fact that there was a miscommunication. I thought I heard him correctly, but I didn't, so that was a lesson for me. What I don't appreciate is this man's passive aggressive approach to handling the situation, especially when there were several errors in the order. It makes for a sour customer service experience. It's not enough to drive me away; I'll just have to watch out for...
Read moreBubble tea is in my blood because I was born and raised in Taiwan. I also go to Taiwan every year to be able to learn and drink the latest bubble tea trend. Honestly, I never heard of T4 so I don't know where it came from in Taiwan. I was here twice already during their special promotions. The drink menu is pretty standard and they have a good selections of Taiwanese snacks and quick food. The workers here are mostly young kids making hard earned money so I could cut them some slacks for their slowness. At least they were working hard instead of slacking off. I did witness some mistakes being made on people's drinks but it was almost unavoidable given it just opened and these people were new to their jobs.
Quality wise, I was satisfied with my drinks and the snacks were a total surprise. They actually tasted really good. We got the fried squids, fried popcorn chicken and baked egg cakes.
I would certainly come back again and hopefully their service has improved with minimum errors...
