Returned After 6 Months -- Still Blown Away!
I came back to this sushi spot after nearly six months, and I'm so happy to say -- it's even better than I remembered!
They've updated their menu and now offer gunkan sushi starting at just $1, $1.50, and $2 -- such a fun and affordable way to try different flavors. The quality is still top-notch, and everything is made to order with care.
They also have a daily selection of limited premium items, including: Uni (sea urchin) -- absolutely next level, rich and creamy, melts in your mouth Scallop, jumbo shrimp, wagyu, lobster, surf clam -- every piece fresh, thick-cut, and beautifully presented Japanese rice bowls and Hawaiian musubi -- satisfying and full of flavor
One of the best surprises this time was their new summer drink: the Mango Coconut Oasis -- packed with popping boba, super refreshing, and caffeine-free, so even kids can enjoy it. I honestly wish I could bottle it and take it home!
The food came out quickly, the place is still spotless and peaceful, and the owner is as warm and generous as ever -- you can really feel the heart behind the food and service.
If you haven't been in a while, it's time to revisit -- this spot only gets better with time. Whether you're coming for the value sushi or the premium treats, it's a...

On the long plate, you’ve got a mix of sushi varieties: • A beef-topped gunkan (ground or marinated beef wrapped with seaweed). • A spicy minced topping, likely spicy tuna or spicy salmon. • Grilled eel (unagi) with that glossy sweet soy glaze. • Shrimp nigiri with a touch of sauce. • At the bottom, wrapped in plastic, looks like a musubi — rice with grilled meat or spam, perfect for later.
On the side, a fresh salad with crisp lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and dressing — and best part, it’s unlimited. 🥗✨
By the last picture, you’ve also got a dipping sauce ready and a sushi roll off to the side, so you’re set for a feast.

Read moreI'm a fan of inari sushi so I enjoyed this meal. The food was visually inviting and the torched inari aromatically was inticing. The winners for us were bulgogi, unagi, salmon, and tuna. The rice had a good texture but mild in flavor. The salmon/uni/ikura bowl (off menu) was decent. The uni was pretty fresh, but the sweet mango syrup took us by surprise and we didn't care for it.
We also tried the Aurora Galaxy Tea. It didn't look like the picture, but was good! Lemon green tea forward tasting with subtle honeydew flavor in the middle. They gave a sample of our sweetness customization, and glad they did because their 50% sweet is more like 25% at most...
