I have been a customer at Castillo’s Pizza in Walterboro for over 8 years. When I first started ordering from them, they were amazing. They gave us a lot of amazing food, the food was nice and hot, salad dressing was always just right, our orders were perfect. Over the years, we order from Costillo’s once or twice every week, sometimes more. The customer service is always in confusion, the food is much less in the amount, but more in the price. Salad dressing is missing most of the time. We have had to buy our own salad dressing. Food is missing from our orders, but we still have to pay for the missing food when we pick up our orders. After working hard all day, we assume that everything is going to be correct when we get home, but most of the time it’s not. Missing bread, missing cucumbers, missing tomatoes, missing croutons, and whatever they don’t have, we just don’t get it. Sometimes, we get the balsamic dressing, but rarely and it’s watered down. We have had to wait for our orders, at times, because the order wasn’t put in. We have had our orders sitting out and the people are running around trying to figure out where our food is. We call to place an order for pickup and we have to repeat our names over and over again. I get put on hold and after someone tells me to hold on, then someone else tells me to hold on a second later, and finally they hang up on me and they don’t answer the phone. We have to get food somewhere else. This happened again on 6/21/2021. You would think that repeat customers would be treated better than this. What happened to you guys? Are you doing that good, that you have room to treat your customers this way? You guys need to get it together. Now is not the time to be slipping and mistreating your customers. Read moreI will start by saying this-I normally order delivery from Castillos Pizzeria #2 on Sniders hwy, but for some reason they were not doing delivery, so I decided to order from Castillos on main..I purchased the deal for 22.99 for 1 lg pizza, lg fries and 10 wings, and 1 cannoli for dessert. I placed my order at 6:31 and it was supposed to be delivered by 8:03.. At 8:05 I called the restaurant and they told me the delivery driver left already and they didn't know when it would be delivered... okay.. at 8:15 I sent a message through the Slice app, they told me it would be 5 minutes...I sent another message at 8:30 and they told me it would be 10 minutes-at that point I received a call from the delivery driver stating he didn't have the gate code to my apartments and was already heading back to the restaurant. Why not call me when you get there instead of turning around and not delivering my food? And not to mention I put my code on the delivery instructions, which was through the app. I gave him my code and he said he was turning around. I did not receive my delivery until 8:41.. The delivery driver was 100% intoxicated. He reeked of alcohol, my neighbors saw him FALLING in the bushes from being drunk. When he gave my fiancé the food, he just slid it out of the bag into her hand, instead of handing it to her himself. My food was COLD. I did NOT receive the large fry, which I paid for. Read moreWell, since no one reached out on my Doordash review, here it is. Our last few experiences were pretty terrible. The last time we ordered, there was hair in our wings, not just one, a few- I thought SC was a state you had to wear hair coverings, so not sure what happened. This last time, the girl on the phone had to keep putting us on hold just to find out pricing for every thing we asked for, so on hold multiple times, so we decided it would be more efficient to order on DoorDash. After placing our order, the store called and said we would need to provide cash when delivered because the DoorDash pricing was incorrect. Our order came so sloppy, wings were soggy and unflavored and the salad warm and gross. My husband and I were so disappointed, and will never make the mistake of ordering here again.
