Horrible experience! I was so excited to learn there was a Starbucks opening in this area. The drive from Columbia to Beaufort/Bluffton to the next Starbucks can be long sometimes. I ordered a venti Hot Chocolate no whip. Waited 18 minutes, people in front of me were asking for their drinks. When I asked for my drink she had to yet make it, 18 minutes for a hot chocolate? I finally receive my drink and yes it was WRONG!!! When I told the RUDE barista she looked over her glasses at me and proceeded to scoop the whip off. Well that just added to my disappointment, no whip means no whip it does not mean to scrap it off when the drink is wrong...she never considered allergies, she walked away 3 times when re-making my drink. Finally someone else made it, every other Starbucks when you ask for no whip ALWAYS adds froth milk and chocolate drizzle (even with whip) to the drink. Nope had to ask for the froth milk and she never added the chocolate drizzle. I was so frustrated by this time we left. Get down the road take a sip it was barely warm and the WORST TASTING hot chocolate I had ever had!!! How do you mess up a hot chocolate? This location did. Mind you they appeared to be staffed, here lies the problem, at least 3 people were walking around just chit chatting. If it were break time, take your break where customers don’t see you just standing around thinking that we are being overlooked. THIS STARBUCKS HAS A LONG WAY TO GO TO MEET THE QUALITY & CUSTOMER SERVICE THE OTHER LOCATIONS HAVE!!! WE STOPPED ON NOVEMBER 17, my drink is time stamped at 2:59:49. Read moreMy family and I are traveling up I-95 and I was tired and craving some Starbucks! (Who doesn't right lol). So my young daughter and I walk in and place or order. we head for the empty line, not one person made eye contact or spoke to me for a min of 5 minutes. Ok, whatever, I need my fix lol. So Heather walks up and I ask if this is where I'm supposed to order. She rolls her eyes and rudely said "ah yeah". I replay "ok, thanks" and go ahead with my order, A sugar cookie and a latte. She pulls the cookie out of the case and sits it down in front of the case. I tell her we're going to the restroom and she says it will be waiting at the counter. She rings it up and to the restroom we go. Bathrooms were wet and dirty, I've never seen that in a Starbucks in my life! The hand dryer didnt even work. So we then head to the pick up counter and we're missing the cookie. I tell the lady "we're missing a cookie" and rolls her eyes and looks at Heather. Then I repeat myself about the cookie. She gives this look like a just kicked her dog and says "CALM DOWN, was it a choc chip"? I say sugar. Again rolls her eyes and comes back to finish off with "if you're missing something just let us know" with the worst attitude ever. I thought that's what I had just done? Read moreworst starbucks i've ever been to. the people were rude and took so long to get orders out, not only for me but other people waiting over an hour. the person who was the rudest was apparently the "manager" with blonde hair. also they lost my order and they remade my drink but they made the wrong one and when i mentioned it they literally just threw it away with attitude without hesitation ... instead of maybe just making up for the lost order they could've given it as gratitude anyways they made the right drink after and they were extremely rude. i've never felt so disrespected . i seen so many people going up and complaining about waiting so long and why they're being so rude. it's just horrible. im never ever ever coming back here and i hope who ever goes there to get food/drinks don't even waste your time walking through the door. you'd save yourself time stopping at the gas station instead. this is absolutely the worst place i've ever been too. no one there is coordinated and they're all over the place. i recommend you get new people to work there! the restroom line for the bathroom was also as long as the line to order because they had a restroom closed down. i should of listened to one of the customers that walked out while i was walking in saying "good luck, it's going to take a hot minute" looking very upset. corporate if you are reading this you should completely swap the whole staff...
