Cook Out — Restaurant in South Carolina

The food was really good, despite the service. We stopped 8:30 on a roadtrip and had never tried before. We were a little unsure of how/what to order and the girl in the drive through was not very patient or helpful. Once we completed the order she asked us not to pull forward. We waited for about 5 minutes and tried talking over the speaker to ask but no one answered. We pulled forward and the girl flung open the window stuck her hand out for the card and said only the total. No smile, or anything else. I handed her the credit card and she just started passing out milk shakes. We ordered 4 and a water, she gave us 3. One was dripping with ice cream, she turned around grabbed more food and a stack of napkins…. Again not one word of anything. She then handed me the card and receipt and shut the window. We were still missing a shake so we waited for about 3 minutes, she could see me and rolled her eyes walked over and opened the window. No words from her, I said we are missing a shake and water. She shut the window and walked away… we waited another 2-3 min and another opened the window and asked me what we were missing (she rolled her eyes) I told her and she grabbed it. Once we opened the food and realized there was no sauce for the nuggets, no cheese sauce for the fries or ketchup, no utensils for the food...

Avoid this place!!! The food at cook out is usually really good, fresh and tastey like a real home made cook out. However this particular cook out FAILS when it comes to taking and following through on the orders. We ordered hamburger with LTMK ( no M no Onion), BBQ sandwich tray w chicken quesa and fries, 2 Hamburgers w LTKP, slaw No M no onions and side of onion rings. See below for what they took down.

We had 4/4 orders wrong! When we received the order and checked I told the cashier Janie, I did not get my onion rings we ordered. She told me to go all the way back to the end of the line! Yes she did folks. We are on a 10 hour trip and had waited 15 mins in line.

After opening our meals we also noticed we did not get the BBQ sandwich ordered, I got onions on my burger which was to be NO onions, and they left off the pickles lettuce and tomatoes slaw which I did want. My daughter ordered a side of slaw, they gave her 1/2 a container. When I reordered my burger with LTKPSlaw, they put mayo on it and left off the lettuce, and almost forgot the onion rings, again. My Family and I have never tried Cook Out so while on a Road Trip we decided to give it shot. When we pulled up to the order board we informed the employee that this was our first time. She then replied with "no worries take your time." She gave no insight to the menu so we proceeded with our order. When we pulled up to the Drive through window we kindly asked to add hush puppies to our order. She scoffed and yelled back to the kitchen to inform them about the addition to our order. While we were finalizing the payment I asked the employee if this company was only located on SC.. she quickly responded with a stern "no" the quickly slammed the window. When she opened it back up again we were rudely spoken to with a harsh "everything you need is in the bag." We said thank you and finished our interaction with another window slam.
