I ordered a double whopper with cheese meal. When I got to the window I specifically asked " A double whopper w/cheese correct?" The young lady said yes. I got home and no cheese. I called and spoke to the manager. She immediately said I would need to bring the burger back and she would replace it. Her main concern was bring it back and we'll give you another burger. 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back. I guess with the price of gas and my time are not important to her. I can only assume it was the manager. I told her she was missing the point. I didn't call to get another burger. I specifically asked " A double whopper w/cheese correct?" The young lady said yes. Either she didn't check, lied or didn't care. Keep it up. I can see someone else bringing it back. Me on the other hand won't be back. I asked for that reason. So I didn't have to bring it back. I share the fries with my dog and I shouldn't have to open the wrapper and check for cheese. That's why I asked. I will be calling Kim Stroble (the general manager tomorrow) seeing hot the race card is thrown around so much by black people I wonder if the young black lady didn't bother to check, lied or didn't care because I'm white? Sure does seem the only person concerned about the cheese was me including the manager who I asked to speak to. Not sure if that's who it was seeing as the answer to me asking if it was a double whopper w/cheese wasn't addressed correctly. No it didn't have cheese and I'm not bringing it back. No telling what I'll get or be accused of if I did. I'll speak to Kim the general manager tomorrow seeing as the manager??? was more concerned with me bringing the mistake back then the mistake, lie or lack of caring about it. This seems to be a trend and I'm not the only...
Read moreWait for it .... She gave me a crown. First time in years so kudos there.... Shake machine not working again.... Yea.... ok.....onion rings were fair.... But....Poor, poor Burger King 👑....it used to be soooooo good.... I loved those Whoppers I really did... Even until maybe 2016....but. I hate to say it...now...ugh.
As they say you can never go home.
I try them every few months.... And every time disappointed... or worse. In Barnwell, the last time I got a whopper before this I almost gagged. Had at least 1/2 cup of Mayo on it. Nothing else but stale meat Was disgusted....I have no idea who there hated me, but I'd never been to Barnwell before... But that is another visit, another time
BUT This time... Dry cold meat, onions too thick and falling off the flat, crushed bun. Condiments wilted and badly distributed... I weep for the future..... Shameful.... And to think there was a time they (BK) came close to challenging McDonald's.
IMO Jack in the Box has a brighter future. At least they have egg rolls. LOL.
Sorry BK.... It is just a matter of time, but you will be the next Burger war casualty Walterboro location fails. .RIP 🤮
The location in North Charleston just over the Westmoreland bridge is actually pretty good the times I've been there... But still bumpy. If you NEED a Whopper, get it there or in Lexington, SC near the high school at the hwy 1, 378 Split. Good luck. Get em before you can only see them...
Read moreOk. First of all, I can not have gluten. Normally, if I want Fries, I go to Burger King because they have a dedicated fry fryer. I'll get a burger with no bun. No issues. But then there is this place.... I went in to order. I got what I described above. My daughter in law wanted a chicken sandwich with no toppings (it's just what she likes shrug) ... They were maybe 10 feet away from us complaining loudly. "If she doesn't want a bun then she will just take it whatever way we give it to her.. and that dry a$$ chicken too" .... they went on... the cashier (poor girl) got to hear what I was hearing while looking at me... obviously in a weird position, hoping I wouldn't freak out. ... I didn't. Other customers noticed and were upset for us... I know that no one wants to deal with gluten-free people, I get it... and trust me, I want the bun... but I just can't. But for us to be made fun of basically to our faces was really uncalled for. I wasn't rude. I didn't make a scene. We weren't asking for anything totally ridiculous. So I don't feel like the blatant disrespect was called for. Then on top of all of it... the bunless wopper had a peice of lettuce.. no sauce.. no cheese.. it was a pretty sad sight. And the crispy chicken sandwich... they gave her grilled. I don't like writing bad reviews. But this sucked. I won't go...
