We walked in, there wasn't another soul in the place. The waiter, not being friendly at all, is taking our order, constantly interrupting while I'm trying to give him my order. As he is giving the cook our order, the cook has to keep asking him to finish telling the order. There are only 2 of Us ordering. It wasn't that difficult. We were driving a tractor trailer. But before ordering, we ask the waitress that working if we were ok to park where we were. She said we were fine. The cook also informed us we were fine. We had nothing blocked, and there were plenty of other parking spaces, no other customers that we saw from the huddle house across the street, for a good hour and a half. The waiter informed us after finally getting our order called in, and it was being cooked, that there was a policy against any and all trucks. They could not be parked in their parking lot and we would have to park the truck down the street some where. 1st of all, if there is a policy, why wouldn't the other waitress and the cook know of this policy or Is be told this before we odered. 2nd of all why be down right rude and hateful while telling us of this policy. Now as a truck drivers wife of 25 yrs and traveling with my husband all if these 25yrs, all over the United States, this is the 1st time I have ever heard if this so called policy. And I happen to know for a fact, that Waffle House fully Supports and Respects the American Truck Drives all across th e United States. And I'm sure this Waffle House does to. It's just a waiter on a power trip wanting to as like he is a manager and makes all the rules. We did get up and leave, and watched as the waitress and and the cook blessed the power...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHahahaha! What can I say? For starters, the waiter chomping on his gum was very unattractive to say the least. After taking our order, the waiter had to go to the back to get the Cook which then came out of the back staring at her phone and pulling earbuds out of her ears. The waiter himself, couldn't put his phone down long enough to get our order correct or prepare it correctly, the few things he did have to prepare. With our orders, we ordered 2 pecan waffles. The one waffle he made had no pecans. The other waitress had to come over and make our two pecan waffles with pecans this time. Our waiter comes back over when the waffles are ready, plates them, and then hands them to us. Runs away quickly to go back to his cell phone. As he comes back by, we had to ask for butter and then on another trip through, we had to ask for syrup. Almost done with our food, he brings us a plain waffle. We told him we only ordered two pecan waffles. He tells my husband that waffle comes with his meal. Well, kinda late there buddy. We had to ask for that to go. Getting ready to leave, he runs back by us to bring us our check. While asking if we needed anything else, he had to pull his earbuds out of his ears to hear us answer him. What a joke! Since when did cell phones become a part of the waffle House uniform? Very unprofessional. As a little more food for thought.... I hope he isn't the "take your cell phone to the bathroom" kind of person seems he set his phone down all over the place including the bar where they prepare your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have had good experiences at our local Waffle house actually this location before that's why we returned! It was and will be the last time. The service was slow at best, had to ask continuously for refills of the 3 dollar teas, the cook couldn't stay off her phone long enough to even cook the food for the customers sitting there waiting for an hour, when the food did arrive it was cold. If it wasn't for two off duty personnel coming in to try and enjoy a meal on there own and taking over with the cooking and serving, we would have walked out! It's Tuesday night so they advertise kids eat free so we ordered a chicken strip kids meal for our 2 year old granddaughter. when it came time to pay we were informed that we'd have to pay for that 6$ because they didn't have the code from the manager to remove it, after before ordering it I specifically asked if it was free! When I say the food was cold I mean everything was luke warm but the side of green beans were literally straight out the fridge cold, like not even attempted to be warmed in the microwave! I know it's hard everywhere to even get people to work in the food industry, but when the ones you do hire drive business away, why even hire them! If, I could give less stars I would. It was so bad, I never leave reviews for bad service or food but after paying close 100$ for what we received, I felt...
