Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in Waltham

Yesterday, I walked into this establishment and was treated very rudely. I ordered 3 of the same drink to make it easy. I had my 3 year old with me because my children wanted boba. I asked the young lady at the register is everything ok because she was talking AT me.

She skipped my friend in line and went to the next person. When I spoke up and told the young lady she’s next. I only ordered 3 drinks and I noticed everyone’s order was complete but mine. So I didn’t want to assume. The young lady not only made my order wrong but she tossed my drinks on the counter. She purposely had me waiting. So now I’m looking at my drink laying on it side. When I asked for a bag she said I had to pay for it.

When comparing receipts the person behind me wasn’t charged for a bag. If that’s the case that charge should have been added to my order. I really don’t like that I have to write this review but the encounter was that bad.

So I decided to ask for my money back because I simply wanted drinks for my babies. Instead I asked the younger gentleman Tony. I asked him to step in and help me. When I asked to speak to a manager, then she started to straighten up. I use to waitress so I make sure when I order, I’m prepared and out your way. Reading the other reviews something has to change at this establishment.

Was I suppose to carry my drinks and my baby without a bag. In total 10 drinks were ordered. I ordered only 3 and my friend ordering 7, two separate orders.

The gentleman that was also at the counter apologized.

I live by this saying treat the janitor like the CEO. Never think you are higher than anyone else. Be kind!!!! Kindness doesn’t cost a thing! You cannot behave RUDELY and want a positive outcome! Something has to change! You do not toss anything at anyone, especially while I’m standing with my child! That was the final straw that made me write this review! Don’t EVER TOSS...

I love kungfu tea… me and my friends regularly purchase it. Went to the Waltham store on Sunday after a tiring event to have our fav drinks and relax, but it was a very big disappointment. First of all there were only two people helping the big line of customers and they were busy talking while preparing the orders.. I had to wait in line for 30 mins just for someone to take my order… after the server took my order, he prepared my order all wrong.. I asked for lychee crystal popping bubbles and all I had in my drink was some kind of slush… there was no sign of bubbles at all… I would advise you to go to maybe some other kungfu tea outlet… this place was a waste to time and money and also...

We are regulars here and used to order from them a couple times a week and I feel like everything is going downhill; haven’t been there in like 2 weeks. We normally order 6 milk teas each time (we have a big family). Went there around 815pm and we didn’t notice until we got home last night that 2/6 milk teas didn’t have boba like we ordered and the ones that did have boba, they were hard and less than usual. In addition, we ordered 30% sugar on one and it was more like 100%. We normally go back and forth between Kung Fu tea, don’t like Gong Cha much, Royal Tea and Tiger Sugar. Probably won’t go back here again as we were all quite disappointed last night...
