Pini's Pizzeria of Waltham — Restaurant in Waltham

Christina took my order of a Meditterean pizza and Greek salad at 1238 but I received a eggplant parmigiana pizza instead at 140. I called at 142 to let them know they delivered the wrong pizza and Christina proceeded to say I ordered the eggplant parmesan and not the Mediterranean because I never specified what a Mediterranean was. All the while insinuating I was a liar. Meanwhile it's on their menu so it should be very clear what it is. She said they would make the correct pizza and deliver it within 30-40 minutes.

I called back at 250 since the pizza had not arrived. Christina answered again saying I never confirmed I wanted the new pizza and it was not being made. 2 and a half hours after I originally ordered and they finally started making my pizza which should be here in another 30-40 minutes. So now it will be a 3 hour wait for mediocre pizza.

I see other reviewers had a similar experience. Terrible customer service, I can honestly say this is the worst experience I have ever had with any restaurant. Will absolutely not be ordering from here...

Please CLEAN your kitchen and GRILL. The food and pizza always has a dirty, smokey, unclean taste to it, always! The chicken kabob salad taste awful, because the chicken taste like it was cooked on a dirty grill. Also, where is the chicken on the kabob salad? Please don't place the salad dressing containers inside the salad, they should go on the outside of the salad in a bag and not touch the actual food. I gave this place a chance a few times before I decided to write a review. I worked in a pizza shop and I know the taste of food from a clean cook top and one that needs to be cleaned more often in between cooking and deep cleaned at night before closing the pizza shop. The pizza taste decent it just absorbs the nasty aroma of the place. Maybe try an air purifier to help clear the air a bit and always deep clean before going home at night. Just because a place looks tidy doesn't mean that it's actually clean and you can taste the difference in the food. Well, I can because I keep a clean...

I had to give this place 5 stars, it’s Super Bowl Sunday I tried calling 4 places before them and they all weren’t taking orders till 730, I go to Pini’s and they still have online ordering and I think to myself there’s no way, it probably won’t let me check out, I check out and it says order ready in 20 minutes, I couldn’t believe it, it’s about 530 and the Super Bowl starts in an hour. I really thought it was lying to me but I show up to Pini’s and I walk in to what looks like the Willy Wonka workshop of slinging pizzas, they got people everywhere, including an assembly line of those big carrying bags to keep food warm for the delivery drivers, and they have every order going in there right off the press so you show up and take your food and it’s still piping hot. If there was an MVP for tonight it was Pini’s Puzza, (although Rihanna crushed, close second).
