Used to love it here, and this specific location. A few months ago, it's like they did a huge firing/hiring thing and now things here are just like all other BK's. Went through drive thru tonight. The guy taking the order sounded high or drunk. He was slurring words and talking to 3 (or more) people at the same time. He told me to hold on in the middle of a sentence. We sat there for 2 minutes in silence before I said "are you still there?" And he replied "oh. Yeah. What else?" We finally got our order in and he mumbled which window. Got there and there's a few workers just standing in the kitchen area scratching their heads, doing nothing. The window guy took my card and rudely handed us our drinks, slammed the window, and left us sitting there with our window down in the snow. Finally got my card back, but no recipt. I had a bad feeling so I pulled over. Our order was totally wrong, cold, old (what was correct), and shoved into the bags so tight we struggled to get it out without it ripping. My hisband walked inside to fix the errors. He walked out and said when he walked in, everyone just looked at him like he was crazy for coming in to fix the order. Read moreI haven't been to Burger King in a long time. My first visit back was disappointing. The girl taking our order was very rude. She laughed after every word I said, apparently thinking her mic was off. However, it wasn't.
She told her colleagues to prepare for a large order, continuing to laugh and interrupt me. She repeatedly asked what I wanted without letting me answer, then laughed, saying, "OMG, is he going to order?" despite my simple order of just three menu items.
Normally, I would have spoken up, but I had two kids in the car, including a 5-year-old who was confused and asked why the girl was being rude and laughing at us. I had to explain that some people are rude for no reason.
My wife was also confused. I'm unsure if the girl was under the influence or needed training on basic customer service skills, like using her mic properly.
The worst part was my kids hearing her rude comments. I don't think I'll return to that Burger King. I drove off, hoping the girl faces consequences for...
