Extremely rude experience. Ordered through app. Card was charged but order was not received by location. When I went in to request either my order or a refund I was told in the RUDEST way by what I come to find out is the DISTRICT manager. The fact that the TACO BELL APP cannot be accessed by TACO BELL is ridiculous enough, but to yell that you refuse to give a paying customer any assistance and to offer NO other recourse but "contact the app" is beyond unbelievable! Got into a shouting match with this guy in the middle of his business over 20 bucks!!! Are you kidding me??? I witnessed the person before me registering a complaint on treatment by staff which when they left a staff member said "we're sorry!" And this same district manager yelled out, "No we're not!" I know the world is in a terrible place right now, but I surely do not understand what happened to basic customer service!! We work hard and when we choose where we spend our hard earned money we expect at least a little bit of basic respect. And when we feel we've been disserviced we expect reasonable treatment. When I was contacted by phone by this guys boss he wasn't quite as rude but it was obvious the guy i fought with had spoken to him already, there was no way this guy was listening to anything I really had to say. Sticking to the "we are unable to do anything with app problems" schtick. Told me flat out he doesn't believe me. Didn't care how rude his employees are to paying customers! Obviously I expected too much in this day and age to even expect the empty "I apologize for your inconvenience." Had I been offered even that empty apology in a calm and kind way could have diffused the situation, but this guy responded to my obvious and fully understandable anger and aggravation having been STOLEN from with his own nasty "There is NO WAY I am helping you" attitude. I contacted app and received my money back and that rep was awesome and kind, but I won't be spending my money at any TACO Bell again I my life. I understand businesses need employees and aren't willing to lose able people, but the fact this dude is a District Manager and has absolute no empathy for paying customers is disgusting. I hope he receives the same treatment he served at his restaurant every time he tries to eat elsewhere. I left my purse in the restaurant, when I called about it the employee laughed at me and said she would call me back and hung up the phone. Without asking for my number. My husband drove me back to Taco Bell, I spoke to the so called manager which pretty much laughed as well. When I asked about the cameras, I was told they are full. So I made a police report, because I found something was fishy. They also gave him the same attitude. Told him, they have missing money out of the register. But don't have cameras to prove who it is. He also agreed with me it's the dirtiest restaurant in Boone County. When a police officer won't even eat there, it must be pretty bad. While they make your food they dance around listening to loud music. I had to clean a table off, before we could even sit down. I did get my purse back, it was missing the money and a gift card. It was found in the parking lot of Taco Bell, by someone. Everything had been gone through. Funny part is, it was found after I spoke to the employees. Pretty fishy to me! Read moreI am a door dasher and that is why I was visiting this location, to pick up an order I would then deliver to a customer. Long story short, the order was canceled due to wait time and door dash instructed me to take the order back to taco bell. When I arrived I was informed they didn't know what to do with it or why I brought it back and instructed to 'toss it in the trash can I guess, I don't know what you want me to do with it'. Door dash customer service states that the taco bell employees should have known what to do and there is a clear policy that should have been followed and it was clearly not. I got docked on my rating for door dash which severely effected my pay due to the order being dispositioned wrong thanks to the staff at taco bell. I won't accept an order to deliver for this store again at least until they train...
