I waited in line just to have the waitress when it was my turn to order, 😭 asked me to give her a moment. She went to the drive through window and gave a customer their order. Then she proceeded to open napkins and fill the holders. I continued to wait not complaining just to see how long I would stand there before another drive through customer would come or another dine in customer would come through the door. I'm not the impatient customer however; I wanted to see how long she would have me stand there and wait for to finish her stocking. Just as that thought crossed my mind a lady came from the back and asked to take my order. As I received my order, I asked her if she was the manager. She said yes. Her name was Tess, I gave her my appreciation. Also the cook on duty "Josh" cooked my fish just as I had asked, fried a little harder then usual. Kudos to the manager who must have seen the disgruntled look on my face saved the day. I've been to this restaurant before through the drive up window. I received GREAT service from the gentleman cook who took my order and served it as well. That's the thing you never know who's working however, that should never be the case at any restaurant. Read moreCaptain D's... Oh my goodness. How I missed thee!!! I went back for the first time since the pandemic lifted and I must say I was not disappointed. The food was still fresh and hot. I love Captain D's fries there are no other like them but you have to eat them while they're hot and fresh or fresh and hot however you want to put it. I also love what I call the little crunchies that fall to the bottom after the fish has been fried. I always ask for extra. And I must say their hush puppies are to die for. Well not literally I don't want to die for them but they are excellent. I also ordered five extras of those. I went to the drive-thru and I must compliment the guy working drive through. He was funny and very nice, very accommodating even when my adult daughter could not make up her mind. By now he should have had his first daughter congratulations brother. And being from the south I should know better than to order fish on Fridays. The line was backed up but it was moving it was well worth the wait. I don't know if restaurants realize that if you get good customer service most patrons don't feel robbed when the wait may be long and the prices increase. Read moreI have been twice within a week special since they got the deal going on 5.99. great deal now the guy that serves me the first time I came was very nice now the lady that came to the intercom I could not hear her she got a little attitude and just told me my order.
But when I got to the window and talked to the guy who was at the window and not the lady who was on the intercom, he was very pleasant her not so much too bad I don't know her name. So I came back the second time and the reason why I came for that 5.99 deal.
Now the second time I came everybody was friendly and the food was very hot and it's very delicious. I don't think there's nothing wrong with the food except for the french fries could be a little fresher other than that everything still hot and good.
The service need to be worked on will I return or I will for that deal you got it I'll be like Keith Lee let's try it 😂😂😂 As you can see I ate half of my plate lol now what I have noticed now back in the day them crab cakes used to be bigger than that that's how you know I'm old I remember.
