Long review because I am very upset about our experience today.. We've been coming here for well over a year since we moved to this area. We really loved this place!! It was a hidden gem. We always bring family and friends here when they visit us. We brought some family here last week, and again today, but wow. Today was the worst experience I've had anywhere in a long time. Two of us were wrongfully over-charged and our server was new. She had a serious attitude problem from the moment we walked in and sat down. We were told her attitude was due to some drama with another server and nothing personal, but still, leave the drama at the door! Don't bring that attitude to your tables.. How unprofessional, even for a diner. I didn't come to breakfast to have an anxiety attack. I have worked in the industry for 15+ years. My family owned a Diner, exactly like this one.. I love the diner experience. Sadly, after today, we won't be giving it another shot for a very long time. The original staff all seem to be leaving or have quit already.. Most of them are already gone. We didn't recognize half of the staff members today. Cheyenne was the name of our server today though, and she does NOT know good customer service, or how to talk to people, at all. That was probably the worst service I've ever had in my life. She didn't greet us. She was quick, short and snappy when she spoke to us and when we asked for basic things, like menus and straws, she had a straight attitude. The other server, Jessica, had tried her best to accommodate us after I got up and asked her to please take over our table bc we were so uncomfortable and upset. Unfortunately, we were still wrongfully charged at the end of it. The new manager must not know how to keep people coming back either, because as regulars, we will not be coming back here for months. She gave my cousin $1.10 back of the $45 she was charged, saying that the other charges were appropriate. What a joke. What happened to making the customer happy and fixing the issue? The new server charged us all wrong.. it was a mess. I got the chopsteak meal like I always do. It always comes with the onion gravy. Today, I was charged separately for the grilled onions, and I was charged separately for the Mushroom Gravy. Very disappointed today!! We should've just walked out like the other table across from us did. It'll be a very long time before we try again. This place needs a visit from corporate...
Read moreWent in at 9pm tonight. There were only about 2 other tables. Our server didn't write down our order when she took it, and 2 of my items were wrong. A different server brought our food, and when I told her I ordered a pancake, not a waffle (the whole reason I went to HH was for a pancake so I KNOW that's what I ordered), she insisted that I had ordered one. SHE WAS NOT MY SERVER AND DID NOT TAKE MY ORDER. So I said whatever, its fine. I did not eat my meal...an MVP breakfast meal, because my hashbrowns were wrong also, and there was wayyy too much butter in the grits. When I went to pay, the same server who insisted I ordered a waffle asked if everything was ok. I told her no, and what the problem was, and that the entire breakfast (minus 3 pieces of bacon and an egg) were still sitting on the table because it was not what I ordered. She said "oh, Im sorry," continued to ring me up- without offering any solution- and told me she hopes my night gets better. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF I HAD GOTTEN WHAT I ORDERED AND DID NOT HAVE TO PAY $12 FOR A MEAL THAT I DIDN'T EAT BECAUSE IT WAS WRONG!! She didn't offer to fix it, discount it, or take it off the ticket. I SHOULD'VE WENT TO...
Read moreI have always came to this restaurant and always had a great experience. Their was times we would ask to pay for veteran's meals there and the waitress were always happy to help us. But today my son was held captive for $52.00!!!!!! The reason for this was because of their machine couldn't take debt cards at that moment. I had no cash on me and I also asked if they had an ATM there so I can just pull out the money, the cashier told me there was one at flash foods. So I took my kids into my escalade ages 3, 5, 11 and 12 to go to the ATM. They run out causing a scene say I have to give up one of my children if I go to ATM. So they can hold him hostage for $52.00 this amount was including a 10.00 tip for our waitress. I go to the ATM to get them the money of $60.00 now for our waitress and the cook who took a picture of my black escalade to make matters even worst. I could have understand if they descretly asked for my ID to be left behind as I went to get money out but for a human that isn't an adult but just a child to be held hostage. What they did to me and my children was wrong...
