I have seen La Pina Loka when near it's location and have been wanting to try it. Today, I read about it on an online review by 13WMAZ as one of the newest family owned restaurants and decided to give it a try after reading its story. I am so glad I did!

It was very nice to have true authentic Mexican food and not the americanized , watered down version, or the Tex Mex version. It felt as if I were dining at a friend's house. The flavors and authenticity reminded me of one of my dear friends cooking who is no longer here.

The Birria Tacos were amazing and the consume or stock, was divine. The beef was delicious and cooked to heavenly tenderness and just melted in my mouth. I washed it down with a homemade cucumber lemon drink that was very refreshing and delicious.

Items are prepared to order and you have an open view of food prep. There are many items on the menu that I am anxious to try, so I will be back. La Pina Loka is quickly becoming my new favorite Mexican spot!...

Harbor Freight, Bargain Hunt, Big Lots and Food Depot all in the same place! I've always been a fan of this Food Depot, great prices!; Bargain Hunt has a weird smell when you walk in but if you can get past that sometimes you can catch a good deal or two; Big Lots has always been great but I do wish they would widen their holiday section!; And Harbor Freight can't be beat when it comes to tools and good deals...

My Sister's Kitchen if I could give it a 1/2 star I would. That is the worst food i have ever tasted. Fish was not cooked and cold and soggy. And the potato salad was half mayonnaise and soggy. Butter beans cold, tea was half sugar. For 2 meals $25.00 wasted and 45 minutes wait not only unhappy customer in there read all reviews and make your own decision. Better hurry they won't be in...
