Food Depot — Local services in Warner Robins

The manager on duty at 6pm on 6/4/21 in that store tried to humiliate my husband. He went into buy some groceries and a case of Mike's hard Lemonade. There was some trouble with paying because I turn our cards off when not in use to prevent unauthorized purchases by hackers.

This particular manager tried to embarrass him when the card didn't go through the first time. Then she tried to embarrass him by making remarks to him about his Florida drivers license being invalid although it doesn't expire until 2025.

The next thing she did when he called her on her attitude over his license was to remark loudly so that workers and other customers could hear was "maybe you shouldn't be buying alcohol".

It is not her business to remark on anything that any patron of Food Depot is buying and certainly not her business to try to belittle any patron for any reason regarding the status of their bank account in the hearing of people not involved with the transaction.

Until now, I thought very highly of Food Depot, it's employees and products. After this, I may never shop here again and will certainly advise my friends and family in this area not to...

They do have fresh meat particularly chicken and ground beef. I don't really care for their beef ribs and their franks were dated 10/11/19 and today is the 9th. They had couple of franks that were dated 11/4/19. The fresh vegetables are pretty good, especially the red onions. Unlike Walmart, whose red onions are usually rotten, Food Depot red onions are a good size and fresh. Not a fan of their frozen veggies. Seen some with ice caked on the bags, looked kinda old.

Also, you have to be leery of their "sale" items. A few times I've purchased a discounted item only to find out that my purchase was either expired or tasted stale. If by chance you needed to return anything please have your receipt, otherwise you'll be in for a real hassle.

Things like cereal, eggs, juice, butter, cheese etc. would be a better buy at Walmart. For the best deal for milk and bread, Aldi is the place to go.

Lastly, always check the date on your food items at Food Depot. More than once, close to expired or expired food have been left on the shelves. On a few occasions, I had brought it to the attention of a worker and they were more than happy to remove the...

The service was slow since there was no one in front me and there was hardly any customers. Lady that rung up my bill was kinda rude but I hadn't transferred money into my debit card so when I got rung up, I was short 25 bucks. I told the cashier I just had to transfer funds from my checking account and when I got on my phone, a kind lady in the back of the line offered to pay for it and I told her I just need like 3 minutes to transfer funds but she said don't worry about it and paid my balance off. Never met her in my life and I have never had that happen before. I was so amazed I gave her a hug and thanked her and left in a daze because I had the money but it wasn't on my debit card.
