JJ Teriyaki — Restaurant in Warner Robins

I went here on a recommendation from a friend. I love almost all Asian food but unfortunately I did not care for the food here. I had the seafood ramen because the lady at the front said it came with crab, octopus, squid, clams, shrimp and mussels. OMG that sounds amazing, but you get 2 or 3 of the cheaper items and maybe a small piece of the more exotic items if you are lucky. This dish didn't have crab, but it did have the worst doughy imitation crab stuff I've ever had. Honestly I didn't expect real crab but was hoping. I expect sushi type of imitation crab meat that when rubbed it falls apart in strings. My wife got the beef ramen and the was 60% broth (the broth was way better than mine), 10% meat at best and 30% ramen. I feel like these ratios aren't fair at $9 each. Maybe they will find a way to make better portions in the future. I want to give them more stars but I can't because food is what makes a meal not the service. It was decent for an Express Asian restaurant. I keep comparing it to an actual dine-in Asian places but it would be unfair because again, it's a restaurant that specializes in quick food service. I ordered ramen the first time here and it was not as good as I expected. I gave it a 2nd try and tried the spicy pork and I was impressed. It felt like the food was "Americanized" because all the ingredients tasted like it came from the grocery store next door. I didn't really get that authentic Asian cuisine taste. I went here based on the high reviews and my love of Ramen, real authentic ramen! However, I was sadly sadly disappointed. I can honestly say, I’ve head better ramen out of the $.25 ramen packs at your local grocery store. I should have known it wasn’t going to be good when it arrived without the Ramen Eggs (Ajitsuke Tamago). It also looked nothing like the picture on the menu.
