This place has the coolest plates and the service is wonderful. I'm always smiling when I'm talking with the employees, and they're always sweet. My favorite plate is the beef bulgogi lunch box. You get the plate and it doesn't seem like a lot of food but it fills me up pretty quickly. The rice by itself, is dry and bland, but that's expected from plain sticky white rice. It pairs well with the meat. The side dishes are wantons, an egg roll, and a slice of fried plantain (which I personally don't care for, but my mother loves them). My brother has ordered the one of the ramens from them and they seem to use fresh ingredients and leave you with a spicy kick to pair with whatever flavor ramen you get. I can't say much into it since I had not ordered it, but by the look of it, I will definitely be trying it. Overall, the atmosphere is homey and the service is wonderful. The food is worth experimenting with to see what you enjoy the most (especially the beef). **Edit: I have now tried the spicy seafood ramen and it is now my favorite! I just wish it came with more meat. Be warned though, you're going to want alot to drink, so I suggest ordering sweet tea, since you can get...
Read moreThe place is small and i honestly have no issues with that but the portions of the food and the price just doesn’t match. If you let us pay that much then we should atleast get a good amount of food as well to be fair. I understand that covid made it rough somehow but that doesn’t mean go greedy with money from your customers and giving them less food. The waitress which is the owners daughter is kinda rude honestly she needs to change that attitude if yall want people to come back. The owner is the sweetest lady i know and she does cook good and i’m honestly happy with what i eat, it’s just that the portions are way too small for the price and that fact just makes it not worth it. I can go to other restaurants and pay the same price for bigger portions served to me and if you want your business to keep on going you should atleast consider the customers cause we’re also working hard to earn the money and y’all are just over charging us for the food with small portions which is not fair at all. And atleast clean the tables properly cause it’s just sticky and dirty it feels gross...
Read moreI was actually tipped off about this restaurant from a co-worker who came back with some take-out lunch and I decided to invite my family and neighbor to check this location out for dinner. It's small, quaint, extremely modest place to dine. The food was pretty good meaning, the flavor was very on par with my expectations. It wasn't too salty or too spicy. However, the night we went it sounded like only two people were running the entire operation and food didn't come out in the most timeliest of fashions. If we were not in a hurry and had nothing to do that night (which we didn't) then it's worth the wait. However, based on my first experience, I wouldn't go there for dinner if I had to catch a movie or party that was specific to a certain time. I was in a good mood and we had very good company so waiting wasn't really an issue aside from my daughter complaining off and on how...
