My family and I went back for the first time in 9 months. The cashier around 5 pm on March 17, 2018 was a friendly gal very into tattoos.. She had a friend lingering around the counter in a shower cap. When we left the cashier was in the DQ parking lot in a car w the shower cap gal smoking weed. Could smell it as we walked out the front door. I looked at them and she put the window up quickly. So im dropping my 3 star review to a 1 star.
We pulled in at 9:20pm this evening. The DQ signage on the street, lights were turned off. Google says you close at 10pm. We were unsure if DQ was actually open. We drove slowly and looked in.. every chair was up on a table. I can see 5-10 min prior but 40 min ahead they just wanna get outta there and dont want customers. We pulled in anyways and got served. Read moreThought I would never say this about Dairy queen, but I had the worst experience at this restaurant! I tried to make an order via drive thru. when I get to the front of the line I mistakenly handed him the wrong card and it was declined. I told him to give me a second so I can give him the correct card he said "we prepared his food for nothing" and slammed the window in my face. I come to find out the person that slammed the window in my face was the manager himself by the name of Ali. I went inside and tried to talk to him and he did not try to have a conversation with him and said very rudely, "you should be prepared to pay for your food in an orderly time fashion"...
It is bad enough to get rude customer service from the employees but to get it from the manager himself for no reason is totally unacceptable! Definitely won't get my business or recommendation from this...

She was cold and had no personality so my wife and I just wrote it off that the girl was tired. But then she helped the next customer (who was only trying to order a cake for his birthday) and was a little short with him. After he paid, the customer, my wife and I looked at each other and chuckled because we couldn't believe how she was acting. We never mentioned her nor did we look at her. That's when the clerk asked, what's so funny? I said, pardon me? She again asked, what's so funny? That's when I gave her the Clint Eastwood look and said you don't want to go there. She then left it alone. Unfortunately, she wasn't wearing a name tag. I hope it wasn't...
