After posting this review, I received a phone call from Bryan, one of the store managers. He basically told me my whole review was a lie, I was a punk kid, yada yada. This review is 100% the truth, which, I guess, they can't handle. Let me clarify: it is Bryan and the "customer service" kids I have the problem with as well as the high prices and long wait times. The workers did a great job on my car both times. The first vehicle has been tinted almost 5 years and is still flawless, not a scratch or chip in sight. My mustang has been tinted a week and it looks great as well. But after the phone call I got from Bryan, which led to exchanging threats (over a Google review keep in mind) these are NOT people I want to do business with. The owners (Shirley and her husband) do seem like great people, however, and she was more than helpful to me. She was very sweet each time I had an issue.
Everyone I know uses this shop for tinting, and say they have had great experiences, but mine were the complete opposite. I have had two vehicles tinted here, and both times were bad. The first was a few years ago, I had recently purchased a sedan and needed the windows tinted. After making an appointment, I arrived promptly at 8am only to wait about 30 minutes before anyone showed up. It took them another hour to take my car back and another 2 hours to install my tint. They charged me $200 to tint 5 windows, which I later found I could have had this done $50 cheaper at another location in Warner Robins. Their debit card machine was down, which was a hassle for me to find and walk to a nearby ATM, as they would not let me take me car anywhere until they received payment. The second time around was much worse. I called to make an appointment, was told to arrive at 8am and my vehicle would be ready around 11am. No big deal. My problem was they quoted me the same $200, but this time around I was having a two-door vehicle tinted and a strip on my windshield. When I arrived that morning there were two boys sitting behing the desk watching YouTube videos and were still doing so when my ride arrived 30 minutes later. Around 10:30, my mother and I decided to get breakfast at a nearby restaurant, when I discovered my car had still not been taken back. I called to check up on my vehicle, only to rudely be told by the young man that there were other vehicles in front of me, and I was more than welcome to pick up my vehicle and reschedule. They did not complete my tinting until almost 1:30 pm that day. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle the owners were there and I addressed the issue with them, which they promised to make right which is the only reason I am giving them 3 stars (not to mention the tint...
Read moreI did not want my car to come to this tint place because I was told Kyle that used to work here and is now at Tint Pro was really good and recommended by family members that knew him. I got a clutch job done on my car and the guy who did it took it here instead of Tint Pro. Which I was told it was supposed to go to tint pro and he didn’t even tell me he took the car here. When I got my car the tint was disgustingly dirty, had a ton of bubbles and had scratches all in the tint and on the drivers window they didn’t even bother to cut the tint correctly to line the window. They removed the old tint that I wanted gone and they decided it would be a good idea to tint over the old tint on the back windshield and I didn’t find that out until later on. So I took my car back and told them I wasn’t satisfied and they offered to do it again. I get my car back a second time and the tint had more scratches in it than the first time it was done. The tint on the back windshield had a little hole in it which I could obviously tell, they cut a little circle of tint and placed it over hole in the tint like I wouldn’t be able to tell. So at that point I spoke to the owners which is Bryan’s mom and dad and they were pretty mad at how my tint was done and they called Bryan for me and he preceded to tell me there was nothing wrong and that the tint is not gonna be perfect. And it’s pretty sad when even the owners told me good help is hard to find so they’re stuck with the people that are working there that can’t seem to tint a window correctly and that they’re ready to retire because they’re tired of dealing with that business. So I told Bryan since your guys can’t seem to get tinting a window done correctly then I’ll take it somewhere else that can. And I made them remove the crappy tint they put on my car and refund me my money and I took it to the tint place called Shade of Day. Bryan actually worked for the owner of Shade of Day years ago. The owner of Shade of Day did an amazing job on my tint. There was no scratches and he even cleaned my windows up once he was done. Which Sunshield told me they can’t clean the windows and they’re gonna have to be dirty. The owner of Shade of Day was really nice and very helpful. We stood around and talked for about a good hour and half. He only charged me $225 for 15% tint and to remove the tint on the back windshield that was left on there. I recommend Shade of Day or Tint Pro if you want your tint to be done correctly and if you want great...

The tint job was good but the customer service lacked greatly. When I walked in the gentleman at the front desk barely made eye contact with me. Made me feel like I had to look like him with regards to skin color to get treated differently.
I was told to drop my car off at between 8 and 9 the day earlier. I showed up at 8:45 AM and that same gentlemen could give me no estimate on how long it would take for my car to be finished, but said he would call me when my car was done. 330 PM came around and still no call. I called them to check the status of the vehicle and they said, “Yup it’s done!”. I was puzzled, thinking, “At what point were you going to call me to let me know it was done?!”.
When I arrived a different gentlemen handed me the keys, and sent me on my way, but the tint on passenger and driver windows still had bubbles in it, so after paying $140 I walked back in to let them know. I was then informed that that was “normal” (even though my front visor had no bubbles) and that they would eventually go away, AND that I had a lifetime warranty on the tint. Why wouldn’t you inform me of that initially? If I was running a tint shop that would be the first thing out of my mouth. Kind of like, he ma’am/sir, this tint has a lifetime guarantee on it, but due to the process by which we apply this tint, there may be some bubbles in the tint for a few days.
My experience with this tint shop was lacking on the customer service side and i will be taking my other vehicles elsewhere. I will also advise others not to come here and to maybe take their money somewhere else.
Still waiting to see if the bubbles dissipate fully. Will edit post in the coming...
