Even after having a cool off I am still put out with the lack of training for this manager. She saw me enter. She was packing an order for DoorDashDelivery.. They were patiently waiting for the correct order to get put together. I was clearly behind them. When they departed I was at the pickup counter. The mtg did not ackowledge me through two window orders until another employee asked why she didn't see what I wanted. I showed my pickup order number through my phone that my daughter sent me. She went overboard. "Who has this order?Has anyone seen this order?Was I sure I placed it to that store? Did I place the order on my phone? I can't pickup an order placed on some one else's phone. Me the customer did everything wrong so it's not her fault she had to be rude and dismissive. So I vent to the register to place the order. Another very beautiful young lady who had been smiling but lost it coming to the register and took my order and at pie, stopped and told someone else to make her pies. No ask, told. I paid with charge card. Now there are no strawberry creme pies only apple the mgr gives me notice across the room. I call, nobody wants apple. The mgr refunds my card. No apology for not having her staff informed...the well groomed employee brings the bagged order. Expressionles. I thank them and leave. Unpacking the greasy bag at home my son-in-law discovered the fries had been packed in the bag upside down with the burgers and nuggets on top. One more way of telling me not to return. At 8:00 at night they might be having a bad moment. But this store used to be a McDonald's. Friendly,clean,well groomed kids working and a eel groomed Manager. Pants 2 inches too long, picking up all the grease and trash and bacteria from the floor and traveling it around through the store hair extensions flipping around, 2 inch nails picking up food without gloves. This store needs some night time attention...
Read moreAs an active Tripadvisor reviewer I was amazed that this establishment was getting some horrible reviews. So, I decided to check it out myself. I drove into the Sonic at 10.07 am on Sunday 02/26/2017. There were about 3 cars in total at the time. I pulled into stall 21 and to make a quick work of my ordering I chose the number 1 with the works and tater tots with a sprite as my choice of drink. I waited and finally pulled out of there at exactly 10.32 am with my order still unfulfilled. I left empty handed with no food. I then proceeded to a gas station next door and observe from a vantage point. At about 10.36 one of the staff walks slowly towards the stall number 21 and looks for my car, doesn't see it and keeps walking off. I thought great now is the best time to call and speak with the Manager. I called the number and got the Manager on the line. I explained to him that I was a reviewer for Tripadvisor. His first answer was he had no clue what that was. So without further adieu I started explaining him of the unreasonable wait. To my astonishment he tried to play it like it was my fault and that I only placed the order at 10.29 am and I need to calm down and listen to him. Wow ! Really, it was my fault that I drove away because his system had a malfunction and since the system said that I ordered my meal at 10.29 that was it. This is where I had "EDUCATE" him on Customer Service. I literally had to tell him that instead of apologizing for their goof-up he is faulting me. This is when, I realized there was really no point talking to this guy. I was really barking up the wrong tree. I told him "Apologies accepted" and my review will be up in its entirety. Read moreOnline, you can order the pickle deal meals for $7 each which is a bundled meal and do a pickup order for it. The thing that is odd is when we arrived there to order at the speaker, it was nowhere to be found on the menu. When I advised we wanted the new pickle meal she said “ok let me try to find it” she tells me my total is 33 DOLLARS. I get to the drive thru window and ask her why two simple burger meals would cost $33 when it’s $14 for both on the app. She came back and replied it’s because they can’t ring it up as a meal so they’re gonna charge us for all 3 items (burger, fries, and a drink) separately. I was like that’s actually insane….. she got the manager, the manager walked up extremely nasty and rude saying “what are you even talking about” and then again advised they can’t charge me a bundled meal for the pickle meal, even though I showed her online I could do a pickup order for $14. At this point I really should have just parked and done the mobile order, however I am 9 months pregnant and it is 106 degrees here and I was already extremely hungry and upset. Her resolution to the issue was being able to bring our total down to a whopping $31. It was just insane and unprofessional. If you cannot provide service for a meal you’re supposed to be promoting, ring the customer up for a regular meal and go about your day. That is the correct way to not make someone pay $31 for freaking Sonic burgers, man. I will never go back to this Sonic and I truly hope they get some more training, not only on how to ring in services but also not talk to people like...
