At first glance, the Dubai Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cup seems like a modest dessert, but one bite reveals a surprisingly luxurious indulgence that effortlessly straddles freshness and decadence.
The strawberries themselves are plump and bursting with ripeness; juicy, vibrant, and refreshingly clean on the palate. They serve as the perfect foil to the luscious layer of chocolate that coats them a silky, caramel-tinged couverture that adds depth without overwhelming the natural brightness of the fruit.
What sets this treat apart is its delicate balance. It manages to feel just indulgent enough to satisfy a dessert craving, yet not so rich that it leaves you feeling guilty. The chocolate, with its subtle caramel notes, offers a mellow sweetness that complements rather than competes. It's not overly sugary, which allows the strawberries to remain the star of the show. The pairing gives the impression of something thoughtfully crafted rather than mass-produced—an unexpected touch of elegance in a setting where you wouldn’t expect such quality.
There’s a certain “surprise factor” to this cup. You might not expect something this fresh and well-executed to come from a casual grab-and-go location, but here it is: fresh, vibrant, and addicting. The freshness cuts through the richness, making it the kind of treat you could easily justify having again… and again. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you feel like you’re spoiling yourself without the heavy aftertaste of regret.
All in all, this strawberry cup is a small revelation—a perfect harmony of nature’s best with a touch of sweet craftsmanship. Whether you're grabbing it after a long day, between events, or as a sneaky midday indulgence, it delivers far more than you’d expect. Delicious, caramel-kissed, and delightfully balanced; it’s a treat you’ll keep thinking about long after...
Read moreI recently visited Big Apple Deli & Grill after seeing it recommended by a popular food influencer. Naturally, I was excited to give it a try. Especially as someone who’s always on the hunt for hidden gems and new spots to try.
Unfortunately, this visit was anything but satisfying.
I ordered the Philly Steak and Cheese, and to be completely honest, it was inedible. After just one bite, I had to spit it out—it had an off-putting taste and an unpleasant smell that immediately raised red flags. It’s rare for me to have such a strong reaction to a dish, but this one missed the mark in every possible way.
While the food was a huge letdown, I want to acknowledge the positives. The customer service was actually quite good. The staff—whether it was the owner or employees—were friendly, welcoming, and took the time to explain the menu. I appreciated their professionalism and kindness.
The restaurant itself was clean, which is always a plus. However, it’s also attached to a convenience store, and while browsing, my son picked up a can of Taki-style chips that turned out to be expired. That’s something to be cautious about if you plan to stop in.
Will I return? Absolutely not—not after that food experience. But I do hope they improve their food quality and inventory practices because the service and cleanliness...
Read moreSo I was going to leave a very bad review tonight based on my first experience because of a little false advertisement but Harun saved the day! I eat out twice a week and Im a review king and I have alot of followers that rely on my feedback. So tonight was my first time ordering from here only because it was halal and I ordered 3 sandwiches but when I went to go and pick it up I noticed the boar head brand which I know 100% wasn't halal. I'm originally born and raised in NYC so I'm very familiar wit that brand. So I had a nice conversation with Harun and the other brother that was making the sandwiches that they can't put the halal logo on their menu when they're not 100% halal. I told him he needs to tell the owners and I hope they read this to change the menu and put we have halal options because they're going to get into alot of trouble for that by this community that strictly does Zabiha halal. The place was nice and clean and Harun and the other brother was very respectful and kind and changed my sandwiches to halal ones. I'm looking forward to coming back and I pray they change the menu to the "halal options" because they don't want someone to eat haram food accidentally and the sin to go on the brothers that own the place....
