Read moreWe decided to try them again as they were closed during the pandemic and then changed from Andrea's Garden to the current name. Totally newly decorated interior with a bar and 7-8 tv's to watch sports. The menu has changed from the mom and pop type of restaurant to a more modern menu. They have a full bar with a array of tap beers, assortment of whiskey, vodka, gin and other adult beverages to choose from.
We were greeted with a smile and very nice young woman and taken to our table, which I might add had plenty of room between the table and the back of the booth. We were then greeted by Alexia with a fantastic smile and warm and friendly greeting. She took are beverage order and gave us a few minutes to look at the menu. She returned promptly with our drinks and we placed our order.
The food came out in no time and was prepared just as we ordered it and it was warm and delicious. Alexia checked on us several times which was appreciated and we didn't have to ask for refills as she brought them to us. That's a server on ball and on the mark. Kudos to her. She was very impressive and I suggest asking for her section when coming to this restaurant as you will not be disappointed.
She dropped our bill and we left our money for the bill and tip on the table and left.
We would highly recommend coming here for some good food, service and dining experience. For those who don't like a louder place to dine this might not be the place for you. Due to it being close to a sports bar but with a homier feeling.
Ample parking, handicap parking and separate restrooms.
They accept cash, credit cards and...
Read moreThe food! Oh my goodness! Everything everyone at the table (of 7) looked fantastic!
We got: (several) corned beef sandwiches, reuben, friend chicken pita, French dip, and thr healthy strawberry walnut salad.
My salad was HUGE! Mixed greens (mostly romaine, spinach, arugula, and I think some iceburg), with thinly sliced, juicy, ripe strawberries, huge walnut pieces, and TONS of grilled chicken. The chicken was sort of shredded, sort of cut up, but very deliciously seasoned. Served with 2 dressings and 4 corners of warm pita bread. So, so good.
The French dip and corned beef both had very lean meat, making all those sandwiches so flavorful.
And we ordered that flaming cheese thing...WOW! Could have eaten 5 of thrm for a meal, it was so good.
Thr fries were good and crispy, but way too many. And the onion rings were also very plentiful, although not to my taste. They were thick cut, really thickly battered, and the onion slid out of thrm when bitten into.
We didn't get any alcohol but there was a full bar with decent prices.
Well worth the visit. Prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was like an Applebee's type but less sophisticated. More like a neighborhood bar meets a chain restaurant. Cozy, comfortable and not too loud (at lunch on a Friday)
Enjoy your visit. You will want...
