Went There last night to pickup a doordash Im already aware this place has very very terrible customer service last night was just too far. I arrived at 7:51pm 1 customer ahead of me, an employee came out and got in line just before me. She placed her order, received her order, and ate her whole meal while I stood there (whatever just reference to show timeframe) Multiple employees see me but will simply ignore at 8:08pm i see the order is made at put on counter I try knocking on window hoping I can simply be handed the bag (Still ignored) So I went through drive thru i get to the window 8:13pm the woman said I can't pickup doordash at drive thru she said I gotta park and come to front window I stated I tried for 17 minutes she said she saw me but was too busy to come to front window I said ok this was the only way I could get any response several employees but anyway the bag is ready she said she's not allowed to give me doordash at the drive window I need to park and return to front I refused I felt her attitude she says its only her job to hand out food. I offered a compromise stated I would get out my car and walk to front (other customers behind me thus im holding up the drive line) yes that's intentional on my part so they won't keep ignoring me while bag is literally ready to go she said no. She tells the manager who does not come up simply relays messages to this woman she comes back to say either move or they will have to call the cops rather then simply handing over the bag because they arent "allowed" I said call em that's fine (I knew this was so unnecessary and a bluff but im stubborn I know at this point its just so stupid /childish but im annoyed. She waited a few more minutes tried to get the manager to come (deal with me directly) she wouldn't. A few more minutes of the drive thru line backing up employee returns and hands over the bag states manager will make this exception only once but im never permitted to pickup doordash at drive window (finally received order at 8:22pm arrived at 7:51pm) im sure I'd probably still be standing at that window if I didn't block that drive window
Side note: The funnel cake fries, Cheesecake Sundaes, and the loaded Fries all those things are delicious Foods great just know the whole vibe for customer service is very bad I already expect that behavior with them only at this particular location in Warren. Never a negative experience at other...
Read moreFirst, Get rid of the no refund policy, it just screws the customers and serves no valid purpose. It's completely disappointing when you order a milkshake and then it comes out like this gross liquid consistency but instead of offering a refund (like they should do) they literally leave you with no valid option because it's going to make each milkshake the same consistency if the machine isn't working right, and usually it makes them fine, but every so often it doesn't work right. (And it's cute how they act like there's nothing they can do about it, well how about warn the customer the machine isn't working as well as it should, you could have at least offered a sample of it so the customer doesn't waste their money in the first place, or say you'll call someone to fix the machine but stop pretending there's nothing you can do or don't know what works at your job, as if you haven't been there working all day or something... common sense) it doesn't work to have a completely useless policy, it's a policy that's obviously more centered on greed than anything else. And it's bad customer service policies like that, that will actually ruin companies and drive away your business. If there's one thing a customer remembers, it's the food & service. You simply can't have a no refund policy no matter what and it works, because regardless of that policy, things go wrong at times and ppl need reimbursed, it's just the way it is. You either give customers what they want or suffer the consequences which is eventually losing them all to a better business with intelligent policies that are customer friendly. And by the way the food used to be all around way better than it is now. It would be nice if they went back to that, I remember when they started putting profits above good tasting food and it was a real disappointment to be honest because I used to go there all the time and they had great tasting reasonably priced food. I don't know what on earth happened to that or who's stupid idea it was, as if ppl can't tell the difference when you get food that doesn't taste good, but I bet you'll notice when you lose your customers over it. And don't get me wrong, it's not to say they aren't friendly or polite, it's the upper management who makes the incredibly useless policies, that's where the problem is. It simply doesn't work for any business to have a no refund policy with...
Read moreThe food is just as greasy-good as I remember it when Rally's was in Niles over 10 years ago. And the staff did get my order correct.
The reason I am only giving this new Rally's 3 stars is because I had to wait pretty close to an hour in the drive-thru line before even getting to the order box. The place is only a week old, and I'm sure it'll take some time to work the bugs out, but here are some tips for you in the meanwhile.
Unless you're gonna park somewhere and walk up to the order window in front, make sure your car has plenty of gas. Like I said, I waited in a traffic line on South Street for just about an entire hour.
There are 2 entrances and exits to this place. But currently, the Elm road one is blocked off, and customers can only use the South Street entrance/exit.
With #2 in mind, please don't be an inconsiderate jerk. You're gonna be stuck in line on South Street, blocking other businesses - keep some room between you and the car in front of you so that other people entering/leaving Dollar General and McDonald's can still do so.
If at all possible, please don't have special or complicated requests when ordering. The Rally employees are all new and still learning. Complicated orders only back the line of cars up further.
That's all. I'm getting down off my...
