Sweetheart Bakery — Restaurant in Warren

So my family and I have been going here for 40 plus years. The last 3 years have been horrible!! All 3 years we placed bread/pastry orders for Easter and all 3 years they were missing items or not the right items. Everytume the ladies say the same thing, take up with the Kelly location, they screwed up the orders, didn't make enough, etc. Then to make it worse they were taking breads from other people's orders and giving them to people who were complaining which wasn't right either. Then I tried to get some cookies and got completely ignored for over 15 mins. When the lady kept asking who was next if raise my hand, she'd look at me and wait on someone else. Also, they had only butter cookies with sugar on them, only 3 different kinds of bread available and very limited pastries. Very disappointing 😞 unfortunately this will be my last year going to...

A full week before my sons birthday party we ordered him a cake. He wanted Fortnite (the video game) on his cake so we sent them an email with the picture as directed. They confirmed receiving it. On the day of his birthday they called and said they never received it. So i told them to simply google "fortnite" and choose a picture. They did and finally brought the cake from another location to the mound location. we were supposed to be at the party early to greet the guests but could not since we had to wait for the cake. We told them we needed it by 3:30 but didn't get it till 3:45. We were the last to arrive at the party. All this could have been forgiven except that there was a HAIR on the cake when we opened it at the party. Disgusting. I will NEVER go there again. HUGE...

10/10 would recommend this bakery!! I needed a smash cake for my daughter’s first birthday. I wanted to find one that used natural dyes. I called a few bakery’s and this is the only one that was willing to use a natural dye. They had me bring in a box of the dye I wanted! The cake turned out perfect, looked great, tasted great and they were really really decently priced too!! I also had a dozen cupcakes made with my dye and it was great too! My only complaint was it was supposed to be a bright pink but it turned out more of a really really light pink. Totally okay, especially since they were using my dye! But I just wish I would have been called when they were making it before I picked it up so I would have known. But I would 100% use this...
