I've seen the negative comments & I'm sure that's the people's personal experience & valid for those people. My experiences here have always been positive. I've always enjoyed the pedicures I've had here & the 2 manicures I've had here have been positive as well. My 1st mani here was 3 years ago & lasted longer than any other mani I've ever had. It was almost 6 weeks before lifting or polish chipping became an issue. As for the mani today it's BEAUTIFUL. How long it lasts-time will tell. I'll keep everyone updated. As I said-I'm sure the negative reviews are valid for those reviewers. That's not been my experiences. This is from today. The picture doesn't do it justice as to how nice it looks in person. Gel polish-VERY nice!
Today is April 28, 2018 & tomorrow is a week since the manicure. The polish looks like it did on day 1. There's beginning 2 b some lifting which has only JUST begun. I'll keep everyone updated.
Today is May 2. The 1st nail JUST came off.
Tomorrow is May 13. Most of the nails have lifted off completely. I still have the nails of the thumb & pinky on my left hand. The gel polish looks exactly as it did on day 1 when I left the salon. That's 4 weeks tomorrow since I had the manicure. Gel polish IS THE best!
On May14 the last of the nails lifted completely off. I'll be going back the 1st weekend in June to have a mani/pedi & some relaxation time before my son graduates from high school. Such positive experiences here that this is & will be my go to place as long as I live in this area.
Just went again for a mani/pedi on Sunday June 3. Was a LONG wait for the mani/pedi but worth the wait. They were short staffed & we came in as a group of 4 women 3 of us had mani/pedi. Only 1 of us had just a mani. Everything was beautiful! The wait was well worth it. This is the finished work on all 4 of us. The lady who had the silver (gray) polish had the same color on finger nails...
ย ย ย Read moreI called before I went to get pricing on a male pedicure. I was told the price was $35. I arrived at the nail salon about 10 minutes after I got off the phone.ย When I sat down in the chair the lady asked me to pick a scent that I wanted her to use from the brochure. (which had no pricing on it) As she was finishing my pedicure, she asked me if I wanted a manicure. I asked her how much and she told me $47 would be my total. As she was finishing my manicure, she asked me if I wanted clear polish on my nails.ย I said no and asked if she could just buff them instead. Once she finished and I got to the counter, the man at the counter told me my total was $72 ๐๐๐ย I asked him how did I get to $72 when the lady just told me my total was $47. He proceeded to tell me that I was charged an extra $10 for them to use the buff pad on my nails.ย I told him I was never told it would be $10 to buff my nails with a pad. Then, I asked him where the extra $15 came from. He told me the color I chose from the brochure for my pedicure was extra.ย I was ready to fight this man!!! I don't have a problem paying for services if I'm told what I'm being charged ahead of time. This is why I go to a different nail salon almost every time.ย I could go over multiple stories where these salons tell you a price for a service and then add on a million dollars by the time you walk to the counter.ย I was prepared to give this lady a $15 tip until they tried to strong arm me. Needless to say, I paid $50 which is still more than I was told and she got no tip!ย I would never give them another...
ย ย ย Read moreI have got my nails done here multiple times in the past. And had zero issues. And it was only $35 for a full set with shellac. I'm a generous tipper as well. Minimum I tip 20% on top of the amount for the nails itself. However. I went there may 6th to get my nails done for my wedding shower. I told the female I wanted shorter nails. And I showed a photo of what I wanted. Nothing crazy. Grey and white ombre with a glittery ring finger. Not only did she do my middle finger the glittery color, but also made my nails so long I had to return 30 minutes later to have them shaved down. Secondly fast forward 7 DAYS later and my nails start popping off as if they were simply glued on. I messaged the woman whom did my nails and let her know my disappointment as I have used them many times before and asked if there was something we could work out. Not expecting a full set for free by any means. But maybe a discount on my next set for the inconvenience. I sent her proof from my bank account that I had spent $65 just on the 6th. And she responded with they can't do anything as they only have a 3 day garuntee. So I will not be returning ever after going there multiple times with no previous issues. And no just so y'all know I'm not a Karen. I work in customer service and they could have done something considering I had bank statements proving I just had them done. On top of that my future mother in law passed 5/3 so I had her viewing from 12-9 Friday and her viewing/service/luncheon Saturday...
