Anna's Italian Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Warsaw

I went on the 13th of August with a group and was not impressed. We ordered fine and got our appetizers, which were fine. Most of us ordered sandwiches from there. Someone ordered pasta with broccoli on the side, and someone ordered a simple chicken caesar salad. The wait was extremely long. Which is understandable, since there weren’t many staff present. The pasta came first. With no broccoli. Then we all got our sandwiches. Other than the chips on the side, they all tasted fine. Finally, we still had to wait on the chicken caesar salad. The woman who ordered the chicken caesar salad waited at least a solid 10 minutes more than the rest of us, who had already waited a long time. When the waitress finally came out with the salad, she got distracted. She also seemed to be confused while she was trying to find the caesar dressing in a fridge to the right of us. We watched in agony as she kept stopping to have a conversation with another worker. When she finally brought us the chicken caesar salad, there was no chicken. It was simply lettuce, croutons, and some parmesan cheese. It was also very evident that the waitress was confused regarding the sauces because she gave us the wrong sauce. We have stopped at Anna’s twice to pick up pizza to go, most recently November 2023. We we driving into town for the night and called ahead to order, and when we got there it was ready and waiting for us, great timing. We got the colossal pizza, it’s Huge! 2 feet across. Half pepperoni half cheese. In the photo it is next to a Gluten Free pizza box. I think that was 10”, for scale. 6 of us devoured the colossal, it was very good, tasty sauce. Me and my family have been coming here for years for their pizzas, subs, we used to even get the cheese fries! I can’t say we’ve ever been unhappy with our experience. I’m a huge fan of their pizzas, I used to ask them to go light on the sauce when I was younger and they nailed it every time. Last night me and my cousin came in last night about 40 minutes before closing, very apologetic for coming in so late but they happily served us our delicious medium pepperoni and cheese and we were on our way.
