Big City Chuckwagon — Restaurant in Warsaw

UPDATE: Just tried breakfast at their new location in Warsaw. Yard Bird was perfect. In fact it was one of those dishes that was so good you hate to try anything else on a return visit. Husband got a Denver omelet that he said was tasty. Dining room improvements could be made if they cleaned up the storage area and turned up the thermostat. Country music being played in the background if you like that. We will be back.

We decided to stop by for a quick lunch on our way out of town and were blown away by how amazing this place is!! Despite the fact they’re a brand new restaurant, they clearly got the memo about excellent customer service! Our waitress was accommodating and helpful, and wonderfully interactive with my 3 year old granddaughter. I had the barbecue and it was perfect - the smoky flavor with hint of spice hit the mark, while my daughters pizza (which I gladly stole a slice of) is hands down the best in the area, if not the entire state of Virginia. I’ve been dining at Big City since it was literally the food truck you see outback, off a road heading towards Kilmarnock. The food has always been top notch. There was one night where we had to wait a really long time for one pizza, but it was my mistake, because while also being a holiday- I didn’t realize it was the first hard launch of having customers IN the restaurant. I kept it all to myself and have been back numerous times, with no issues at all.
