The River Coffeehouse Downtown Warsaw — Restaurant in Warsaw

This place was horrible…I found food in my coffee and food, they said I had to move my car because they were waiting on the mangers friend which had made me leave and go to a different coffee shop, the next day i retuned that’s when I got my coffee and food the employees were very rude they wouldn’t even say a full sentence to me, they spilled coffee all over my pants but luckily I had an extra pair in the back of my car since I went to the laundromat that day as-well, when I asked to speak to the manager they said “well lemme-“ then she got a call and took it and said to ask another employee saying that she was going on break. Not very many vegan or vegetarian options only 1 that was actually vegan 2 that we’re vegetarian they had falsely labeled a bunch of items I paid almost $250 when I got my receipt and when I finished I went up to the front desk and asked about it they said “just go” Free meal but horrible food, service, and not many vegan or vegetarian food. I did complain about the hair in my food and my coffee they said they didn’t know. Only really good thing was that they had fine...

We come to this coffee shop once a year while on an annual trip. I have always looked forward to it despite that they are always busy and we have to wait in line- I’m patient. Today, we stopped in and the line was out the door. So we waited about 30 minutes to get up to the counter. We get up there and when I ordered the cashier said they stopped serving breakfast 20 minutes ago and lunch would start in 2 minutes. I say okay can I get one of those menus? She says they’ll have them out in 2 minutes. So I say okay and pay for the 2 things we did get.. and she just stands there and says you’ll have to get back in line. She was super unapologetic and just seemed annoyed. Of course, the line is still out the door… so my options were, wait another 30 minutes or choose from non breakfast or lunch items (there are like 3 options). The one item we did order ( a yogurt) took us about 30 minutes to get… and we never did get the drink we ordered. I’m usually not a complainer, but overall just a bad experience. My little sister got married and was wanting coffee from the River to get ready! I called ahead the day before to prepare them and to ask the best way to order 10+ drinks. The lady I spoke to was very kind and took all the drink orders and asked me to submit an online order in the morning but that they would have the drinks ready for us by 8:15. We got to the River and the line was out the door, but we walked in and they had all 10+ drinks ready to go for us! Amidst the busyness, they made sure our large order was ready to go. HIGHLY recommend this coffee shop, not only is the service great, the staff is so friendly and their coffee is AMAZING, with so many different specialty...
