Add up your bill before you get to the register. I took my daughter to The Diner and had a pretty good idea what our total bill should be, but when the lady at the register added it up, she told me a total that was several dollars higher than what I thought it would be. I asked her about it and she said that she added sodas to our bill because our waitress often forgets to add them. My daughter and I both had waters. The reason this seems sketchy to me is because we were standing right in front of her and she could have simply asked us instead of just adding them. I really hope it was a lapse in judgment because I really like The Diner. This place is a must for a breakfast restaurant! Coming here is like traveling back in time to the 60's with the atmosphere, and the restaurant is family owned and operated so it's very cozy. The kitchen is right in front of you as well so you can watch the cook make your food right in front of you!
