Only 2 good things about our dining experience. One was our server Torrey. She was friendly and spot on! The other was the dinner salad which was very good. When I first walked in, there was a young man that gave me a look like he knew me but never said anything. Then the greeter was about to acknowledge me but the phone rang, she answered it and instead of politely telling them to hold on so that she could take care of an active customer, she stayed on the phone with the inactive customer long enough to which I decided to go to the bar for a drink. Took a few minutes to try and order a double Patron margarita to find out that they don't carry it, and when I asked them what their best tequila was, they just told me the names of the 3 that they carry. Okay, when I asked my server whether the calamari app was just rings or did it also come with the tentacles, she told us they came with both which made me happy. Salads and app came out and the calamari was disappointing because the rings were over-breaded and rubbery and there were very few tentacles which were basically nothing but breading. My wife's salmon was pretty good as it should've been for $30. My seafood ravioli came with what the menu called "pink sauce" which it was but very much lacked flavor. The ravioli was very disappointing in that the seafood was over cooked and rubbery with small chunks that's texture was like someone already chewed it! But here's the kicker - the guy I first saw when I walked in was likely the manager and/or owner because he was behind the bar a few times to manage a situation and he did table touches at every table in the restaurant EXCEPT the one that likely had the highest plate average - mine!! My bill for 2 before tip was $260!! When my wife and were walking to our car, that same guy looked at us but didn't even say thank you or anything! I found out that this restaurant has only been open for less than 3 months, but they won't last too long with experiences like mine! I hope they do well, but I won't be spending my $300...
Read moreMy first visit and my gal pal second visit. Met another couple for a Saturday night dinner. I am a lasagna aficionado, therefor I always use that as my first meal when trying a new place. Lasagna was good. Very cheesy and I would get it again but I am going to try other dishes when I go back. Calamari and mussels as apps were excellent and plenty to share amongst the four adults, our favorite teen wanted nothing to do with either app, more for the adults! Service was excellent, Drew was great again. My gal pal had a happy hour earlier in the week and he was their server so we asked for him again and he exceeded the high expectations. A couple of bottles of wine later and no dessert since we were too full we headed home more than $50 per person lighter but was well spent. Other menu choices for our group were chicken parm, 2 lasagnas, a tortellini and one steak and potato soup (which I also had a cup and this was delicious too) a few house salads which were excellent. Looking forward to next visit to try...
Read moreThere were 3 of us dining this evening at this newly opened restaurant. Eggplant parmesan that was on the menu as a shareable was good. We all enjoyed it. We all had pasta dishes. Rigatoni carbonara was good. A little more prosciutto would have been nice. No extra parmesan was offered. . Tortellini dish needs more flavor. The seafood pasta also was lacking in flavor andno seafoodfork forthe clams and mussels. You pay for bread service which was grilled and had a dipping sauce. It is a one fork restaurant. And no coffee was offered. Also there is a fee for using a credit card which wasn't as outrageous as another one we encountered. If restaurants are going to do this they need to be much more transparent. Since we had 3 alcoholic beverages, salad, entrees, and bread it would have been nice to know this ahead of time. Service was okay. One in the party may return but the...
