WORST POPEYES IN RHODE ISLAND!! My food was presented to me in the worst way possible. My food box was open. My red beans were spilling everywhere and my bbq sauce was also open inside my bag making everything a huge mess. I will never return to this establish and I’m expecting a full refund on my order. Went back another time to see if the could right their wrongs and my order was messed up yet again. I called to get a refund in which I was told credit card refunds can only take place 15 minutes after the order and if I wanted a cash refund I would have to set up a time to come in. I told the manager I would have to check my busy schedule and get back with her in which she told me “if you don’t set up a time with me right now then you’ll have to chase me around”.

It was piping hot, but ZERO FLAVOR. Not a hint of salt! Tasted like hot flavorless bland chicken with plain flour batter. 👎👎 🚫Do NOT recommend this location after giving them multiple opportunities🚫* Popcorn shrimp tasted good. Quantity seemed less than what it should be (have ordered this before from other Popeyes locations). Food was hot to order.

Not even an hour ago, I went here to get a classic sandwich with no pickles and added bacon. The moron making the sandwich messed it up twice. First, he made a blackened sandwich instead of a classic one, and then he made a classic one with pickles, cheese, and bacon, even though I said no pickles and absolutely nothing about adding cheese. The lady at the drive-through was very nice, but the guy who made the sandwich is an idiot. I could have dealt with taking the cheese off and eating the rest, but adding pickles completely ruined the sandwich as it reeked of pickle juice. This isn't the first time they've messed up such simple orders. I won't be coming back here again.

Not even an hour ago, I went here to get a classic sandwich with no pickles and added bacon. The moron making the sandwich messed it up twice. First, he made a blackened sandwich instead of a classic one, and then he made a classic one with pickles, cheese, and bacon, even though I said no pickles and absolutely nothing about adding cheese. The lady at the drive-through was very nice, but the guy who made the sandwich is an idiot. I could have dealt with taking the cheese off and eating the rest, but adding pickles completely ruined the sandwich as it reeked of pickle juice. This isn't the first time they've messed up such simple orders. I won't be coming back here again.

I would like to draw your attention to a distressing incident that transpired on October 7, 2023, around 6:16 PM during my visit to your establishment. My encounter, particularly with the black female manager on duty (she didn't allow me to see her name tag and promptly walked away, leaving me with only a description), compels me to voice my grievances regarding your management staff, and I must assert that my experience was far from satisfactory.

During my visit, I ordered two Number 4 meals of the 4-piece variety, which have consistently been a worthwhile choice. However, my father had additional preferences, and I subsequently placed an order for more items. Regrettably, my request for these additional items went entirely disregarded. Furthermore, when I sought information about the status of my order and requested napkins, the aforementioned manager responded in an unprofessional and dismissive manner.

To compound my frustration, she inexplicably locked the doors at 7 PM, a decision that appeared completely at odds with the posted opening hours, as it was evident she was intentionally deterring customers, potentially impacting your bottom line.

Rather than receiving the expected assistance, I found myself unjustly embroiled in a dispute with the manager, which, considering the circumstances, was entirely unwarranted. All I sought were napkins and my order, specifically a 5-piece meal as per my initial request.

Adding insult to injury, the manager proceeded to discuss the situation with other staff members, insinuating that I had disrespected her. I wish to clarify that there was no disrespect on my part; my only objective was to obtain additional food for my father. This incident was my tipping point, compelling me to pen this review in the tone it now conveys.

It is with profound disappointment that I express my dissatisfaction with this experience. Such incidents reflect negatively on the overall quality of service your establishment provides. I firmly believe that this occurrence underscores the dire need for improved management within your organization.

I respectfully implore you to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and consider taking appropriate action to rectify the issues that arose during my visit. Your attention to this matter undoubtedly plays a pivotal role in enhancing your establishment's reputation and overall customer satisfaction. Rest assured, I will not hesitate to escalate this issue to corporate; such behavior, in front of both staff and customers, is unacceptable, especially considering that we, as patrons, contribute to your employees'...

I was just there. We were in line for the drive thru and they were taking so long to take orders and hand out the food. I totally understand if they were understaffed or there was a long line but there was 4-5 car max. As soon as we got to the window all you see is 2 guys laughing and joking which is fine but can you just take care of my payment first so the other people behind me can be taken care of. That wasn't even the end of it, they told us to park our car and they'll bring out the food for us. 20 minutes go by, I kid you not still nothing? I see one of the guys bringing out the trash and asked him if he knew if our food is coming out he told me he'll go and check. I can see in my mirror the man talking to one of the staff and point out at my car and what do you know he brings out the food right away. So if I was not to say or asked about my food they would have forgotten about it! The poor man that had no clue about anything that was just taking out the trash was bringing out our food. I wasn't going to say anything to him because he was so kind and it wasn't his fault but come on, you guys really need to be considerate of customers and their time as well. Absolutely horrible service. I placed an order on the app at 6:09. They told me to pull up at the drive through and they would bring it out. I waited and no one came, but I kept seeing people go in and come out. So I went inside and asked if they had my order and no one had any idea what I was talking about. I was ignored as they kept taking peoples orders and giving them theirs. While my ticket was just sitting there. The manager just kept coming over and looking at it and asking what I was waiting for. Then they started rushing on an order, but it was just the customers who literally just walked in. I didn’t get my order until 7:10. No apologies. Nothing at all. I have never been treated so horribly by workers, especially a manager. Why would they tell me to pull forward and wait at the drive through window if they weren’t even going to make it. I already submitted a complaint online with no response. So now I will report to BBB. Also to add, I only ordered three things. But not one person made any attempt to just try and get it ready.
