My partner and I came into Panera at around 4:45, 01/09/2022 to order food to go. A man ordering food at the cash register was not wearing a mask and was HACKING all over the counter and cashier. A woman behind him stood a healthy six+ feet difference, but she had a young child and looked visibly uncomfortable. After the coughing man ordered his food and left, the woman spoke to the shift lead/manager (a woman with glasses). My boyfriend and I were sitting at a table waiting for our food and saw their exchange. Basically, the woman respectfully asked that the employees enforce the mask policy. The shift lead(?) seemed amenable, but once the woman left, she began stating things like "Oh, does she expect me to hire someone to check masks at the door? Does she want me to hire someone specially for that? I'll GLADLY HIRE YOU IF YOU WANT THE JOB". She spent her time mocking the woman, making hand gestures, and behaving in an incredibly unprofessional manner. I did not understand her problem, as there was clearly a box of masks at the cash register for unmasked customers. There was no plexi glass or other protective measure to protect the cashier either. This behavior was appalling to witness, and especially during the current surge of COVID cases, it's extremely dangerous behavior too. I'm never coming back to this Panera again and for anyone else who cares about pandemic safety, I would suggest taking your...
Read moreI've been going to this Panera bread since my daughter was five years old and she is now 21. Never had a problem. We would go two or three times a week sometimes. The other day had a problem though. The girl took my order and she messed it up, she took my order and she made the wrong sandwich so I said well I can take it and she said no we have to throw it away I just want to take a bite to see how different that sandwich was and she said no less you want to pay for it so she rather throw it away then give it to somebody that doesn't make any sense and then my husband ordered a soup bowl chicken noodle, a huge bowl and not even half the bowl was filled and it was almost $9 for the chicken noodle soup so I left. Never had a problem before ever so...
Read moreFirst of all Panera is not inexpensive for what you get. I go to counter and order, I have tell her my order, have to tell her twice. She asks if it was for here or to go. I told her here. She gives me my cup, a large plastic for iced tea, I was having hot tea. I then noticed I was over charged $1.10 for my tea. Then I am waiting for my food and when I go up to get it, it is in a paper bag with a container of cream cheese. As I was eating I noticed I was not the only person given a paper bag that was dining in.
Maybe they did not want to do dishes. There are choices, Panera was convenient. Next time I will drive a little...
