Please read entire review to understand, and yes i know it is long
I learned about this place though a school assignment, and seeing that it was a buffet i went there with my parents. We had mixed hopes for this place because of all the reviews giving it either one star for five stars. My first though when i walked in was, wow this place is busy. My family went up, after we got our drink, and we stood there trying to decide what to grab first, there were dozens of items to choose. i got several items because my plate was almost overflowing and sat down, the food was really good. people have been saying the food was horrible but i believe that was just their own taste buds. This does not even include the Hibachi part and the sushi bar. For the hibachi, while the amount of types of food next to the grill was not a lot, it still tasted good. For the sushi, there was a large choice to choose from, i would just recommend o the Hibachi place to put labels over each type of sushi because i did not know which was what, but that does not change the fact that it was still good. Then came dessert, and no it was not bad, it was really good for what i got, and my parents said the same thing, just a few items were too sweet for me. Finally came the service, everyone said they were rude or nasty and i did not get that. They were nice and helpful. For the people who say "they came by every minute to check to see how you paid for the meal" that was not why they were walking by, they were checking to see if there were any plates that need to be cleared off of tables. There was only one part i did not like about eating at the Hibachi Grill was the crowds, there were so many people, but that is not at all a bad thing, it means that this place is a famous place people must keep going back there, and the food will always be fresh because after ten minutes of bringing the tray out the food gets taken. So over all the Hibachi grill and Supreme Buffet is a great place to eat at. I know may family will go back there again, they will also tell other people about it, i will tell other people about it. So for people reading this, yes you should read the reviews to get a general idea but you should not make a decision based on that, the only thing you can do is try...
Read moreThe food here is consistently decent. Not amazing (except their Chinese wings, those really are amazing and unlike any I've had anywhere else) but not horrible either. Why am I leaving two stars? Because they consistently pull slimy maneuvers to try and swindle a tip out of you. Occasionally I'll leave one if the waitress was extra good at clearing my plates and refilling my water, but the waitresses are usually standoffish and barely adequate so I don't always leave one.
Their go to maneuver is that when you pay with cash (the bill is always $15.11 at lunch time during the week. I'm pretty sure they do this on purpose so that if you pay with a $20 bill they can can keep all of it. The first few twimes I went there the waitress would just grab the money and say "thank you" and run off with all of it, not returning with my change. After having that done to me about four times I started telling them after they grab my money "I NEED CHANGE" and even that doesn't always work. When you say that they'll pull the old bartender trick where they come back with five $1 bills instead of a $5 bill, hoping that you'll leave some of your change as a tip.
I started just bringing my bill up to the register and paying with a card, which seems to solve this dilemma, but today I decided to pay with cash and brought my bill up to the register myself, in order to avoid yet another slight of hand swindle maneuver from the waitress. When I gave the cashier the money, they put my change (five dollars) all in ones and handed the little tray with the dollars on it.
When I grabbed all the money off it and stuffed it in my pocket, the cashier and two of his flunkies started cursing me out in Chinese. Not to my face mind you, but among the Chinese words they kept saying "TIP" over and over again. Classy.
So yeah, HG, if you read these reviews I suggest that you knock this crap off. I know that is how your employees are trained because it gets done to me every time I go in there to pay with cash, but the fact that you think you can trick or guilt me into leaving a tip is pathetic. I'm not the only one with this complaint, so yeah HG, time to knock off the BS, and then maybe I'll start leaving a tip if you don't try to weasel...

This year, I started with a plan: I told my husband we were going to a Chinese buffet for New Year’s Day. Why not begin the year with an abundance of food in every style imaginable? After all, abundance is a good theme for 2025.
The day began with a hard workout at Burn Boot Camp. (Side note: their floor is amazing—super kind to your knees.) Feeling accomplished, I went home, rested a bit, and at 11:30 a.m., my husband was ready to go. I was mid-scene in Avengers: Infinity War but quickly got dressed because, well, priorities.
Off we went—but not directly. My husband, as always, chose the longest, most winding route to get there. It was like life itself: full of unexpected twists and turns. Eventually, we made it to the buffet. My husband claimed we had been there before "ages ago," but my memory only went as far back as a Chinese buffet in LA for New Year’s 2011. This place? Total mystery to me.
The restaurant was bustling, which surprised me, but hey, New Year’s Day is a universal excuse to indulge. The buffet had all the usual suspects: sushi, seafood, rice, bread, and even ham, which I didn’t expect but appreciated. They also had some American dishes, rounding out the spread nicely. The tea? Absolutely excellent. The special price for the day was $19.99, though I thought $19.97 would have been cleverer—this year’s calendar matches 1997’s, after all.
We were seated at table D3, which I found symbolic: D for Dios (God in Spanish) and 3 for the Trinity. Clearly, it was a blessed table and Gods way of telling me : “ I am with you “ My first bite confirmed the food was good—clean, fresh, and satisfying. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better.
As we finished, I couldn’t help but smile. A full plate, a full heart, and a funny, winding journey to start the year—it all felt just right. Here’s to 2025: may it be full of good food, good company, many vacations and all of us in good health and walking with the Lord every day more and more ! Blessed 2025...
