Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Warwick

Wow, I don't know where to start. I've mostly had good experiences here in the couple years I've Gone. But today was the worse experience I've ever had anywhere. Today is Fri. August 15th. By the way I recently gave a good review. In the past they made a mistake and corrected it promptly with no extra charge. Today they gave me 2, 6 inch hot dogs instead of foot long. They made this mistake before but quickly corrected it. But the manager today was rude and insulting and I had my 67 year old wife and autistic son with me. I was so upset by the treatment. I went up very nicely and explained that they made the mistake. The girl said she would talk to her manager then came back and tried to charge me for the correct order. She said I don't know why my manager is doing it this way we always incur the cost of a mistake. I asked to talk to the manager. She came and I said I don't feel like we should pay for your mistake after sitting here waiting to get the wrong order. I think you should eat that cost. She say ok fine. Mean while I payed for an extra drink and hot dog. Soon they brought out the ones I paid for but not the corrected order. I asked the girl if there were 2 more hot dogs coming and she said yes there should be. So I sat down and waited again and soon the manager came out and said you must of misunderstood me WE DONT GIVE FREE FOOD WHEN WE MAKE A MISTAKE. She said it like we were trying to get free food. We were trying to get the correct order and now it was almost 45 minutes later and we still did not get the order we ordered. I told her every restaurant pays for their own mistakes. In fact you made a mistake before and corrected it no questions. She said we don't do that. I we make a mistake you have to pay for it. She was so rude and insulting and my son never got his hot dog. On a side note I've been ordering this foot long for a long time and just found out today that they are not all beef but pork and beef, they never told me that. I say I would like an all beef hot dog. They say 6 inch or foot long. I say foot long, but only today did the girl say that the foot longs are not all beef. So the whole time I thought they were all beef but they were pork and beef. We have the car hop a 4 dollar tip anyways. Hi, I had a bad experience with sonic a few days ago while I was ordering through drive-through they had me sat there for 20 minutes, not knowing where my food was and I asked numerous times where was my food? They had the nerve to ask me what am I doing here still and I told them I’m waiting for my food so I told the young individual I just want my refund, they were giving me a hassle about it. I told him the manager still hassle. This is the kind of stuff that people need to be seeing around the world what people are doing to our customers we work hard for our money and we are we appreciate the service where everyone does, but not when people are not giving out your food after you pay for it. I don’t approve of that , that’s called stealing and they should be confronted about this and they didn’t Give me anything in return so I would never refer anybody to go to the sonic because they are rude unprofessional and they need new cooks and they’re always never on time for their food every time I approach them with an order I’m sitting 20 minutes for my order!!!!!!! 👎🏻 you guys need better selection for the people that work for you and thats bad for business and NOBODY Don’t ANSWER YOUR CALLS OR NOTHING SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT NUMBER WHEN I SPEND MONEY TO EAT AT YOUR RESTAURANT WHEN YOUR UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES ALL THEY DO IS HAVE PEOPLE WAIT IN LINES FOR A LONG PERIODS OF TIME AND I WANNA PUT IN A REPORT BECAUSE THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A Customer TO DEAL WITH NONSENSE WHEN ALL I DID WAS WAIT PATIENTLY FOR OUR FOOD!!!! Food was alright all in all. I got a hot dog because I'd gotten a message about $1 chili dogs and ai really like chili dogs so I was willing to take the 20 minute drive to go get one, granted it cost the same when accounting for my gas money. But I was kind of disappointed when I ate the chili dog. The bun was crushed and dry, and the hot dog itself tasted very fake, like one you'd get at your broke friend's barbecue. Not what I was expecting for quality. By the time the hot dog was in my car, the cheese had solidified a bit on top and was strange. The cheese and chili tasted fine, but it was kind of hard to overlook the empowering taste of the hot dog. Maybe what I'd expect for 50 cents and a 5 minute drive, but definitely not worth a dollar and tax plus the time there and back. I also got a slushie and an ice cream because why not while I was there. The cherry slushie was pretty alright, I'd probably get it again if I was in the area. The ice cream tasted pretty good, but it was strangely smooth? As though it wasn't aerated at all, which isn't a complaint. It was good and really creamy.
