So bummed - drove 20 minutes out of our way. There was no one working the tea room - just signage saying it’s “self serve” and payment on the honor system (with a request for tips, which was odd considering there was no one working to tip) There was no way to make loose leaf tea (which is what we came for) and no baked goods as advertised. Half of the items were missing pricing. I went out and asked the girl in the lobby area for help making tea but she couldn’t even find us a tea ball or anything. She was new and not really trained or able to answer questions. We ended up going back to our normal spot for brunch. It’s a shame - it’s a cute spot, and has a ton of potential but appears like the owners have lost interest in running it. And for anyone with allergies - there’s a couple of cats who wander freely...
   Read moreIt is a beautiful, charming house. Their tea was delicious. We got cold tea (it was a warm day) and cookies. It was all delicious! The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. I only wish they had more on the menu. I was very interested in the waffle dippers (as seen online) but was told they currently are in "transition" regarding appliances and pricing. Very understandable, but also disappointing. They only had cookies, which were yummy. It is a very comfortable space, complete which resident cats (also friendly!) They also allow for doggos.
