Pepito's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Waseca

I love the family business, but it's not well advertised, I never knew this place existed, they could use a big sign streetside.

The glaring problem is the taste, it's not very good. It's that Midwest style flat frozen style pizza with not much flavor in general, not a fan of this genre of pizza. The sauce was bland and sparse, same with the cheese, while the crust was crispy on the outside and it was doughy towards the center.

We were hopeful when we saw a new pizza place opened. We ordered a large pepperoni and a large sausage. Unfortunately, we got two large sausage pizzas that were pretty burnt and one was pretty beat up. The parts that were okay tasted fine but I was hoping for better, especially given the cost. The cheese bread was good.

We ordered the Garlic Cheese Bread and a Gregory the Great! Cooked to perfection, the pizza delivered on a full sensory experience. Savory sauce, good peperoni and more cheese than the average human can handle, it was very tasty. The bread was toasted to perfection with just the right amount of garlic flavoring and a nice marinara sauce for dipping. Can't wait try to other items...
