So many problems with this location. 1. On 3/15/24, I ordered ahead an iced coffee & an empanada which Dunkin' had a deal for $2 empanadas (regular price $3.99). When I went to pick it up I was told, AGAIN, as usual with this location, that they are out of empanadas but they can substitute 2 donuts instead. I say donuts are not an equivalent substitute for an empanada. Can't you substitute an equivalent food item? The employee says "that is equal because you are paying $2 and 2 donuts cost $2". Seriously?! So Dunkin' gives customers a deal on empanadas and this location is "out of them" so that means I'm supposed to get 2 donuts as an equal substitute??? So if I went to a restaurant who had a deal on Ribeyes for $5 and they were "out of them", does it make sense to offer me a loaf of bread for a substitute? Use some common sense Bellville Dunkin'! It's not the customer's problem that you ran out or rather didn't order enough or didn't thaw enough for the day. 2. Nearly every time I order a food item at this location, they say they are out of it. One time an employee said it was because they didn't take enough out to thaw for the day. This happens so often, it's ridiculous. 3. If they are short on staff, they shut down the order ahead. 4. Instead of asking people with orders that take long to pull forward like most drive-thru businesses, they just have the people wait and wait holding up the drive-thru line and causing a line sometimes up to 8-10 cars long. This management and owner need to use some common sense and logic. 3/15/24 was my last time at the Bellville location and I go there often. I will now go to other coffee shops from now on. They did give me my money back for the regular price of $3.99 after I tried to explain their lack of logic. I'm still not sure that employee understands how donuts are not an equivalent substitute for an empanada, and that was the last straw. There are just too many mistakes and poor management decisions there to bother...
Read moreSo first off I want to start off by saying, I have never had Dunkin Donuts. I had no clue what to order or how to order their coffee. I usually go to Tim Hortens or Starbucks. Only because where im from Thats what we have. My mom and sister were with me traveling up to Vermillion Oh for work. We decided to stop and try Dunkin. We needed gas so we got gas first and then went through the drive thru to get coffee and donuts. We asked the drive thru girl what she would suggest, and what was good. We asked a few questions about menu items. We were laughing and never thought anything about it. We pulled up to the window and paid for our order. The girl at the window asked us nicely to pull around to the front of the building and wait until our order was ready. Ok, not even thinking that this is a donut shop and we should not have to wait on our order, we pulled around and waited. 10 mins passes, we still dont have our order. 2 cops pull in and come to our window and started asking us questions, like where we are going and where we are coming from. Then proceeds to tell us that our car was reported with 3 intoxicated individuals. We were asked for our Ids and insurance, and registration. They ran our stuff, and found out that we were harmless. The cops gave us our stuff back and then asked me to step out of the car, and gave me a field sobriety test. I have never been so humiliated in my life. When we finally got our order, the coffee was cold and our 'Frozen' cappacinos were melted. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Humiliation, harrassment and falsely accusing someone of this offense is not acceptable. Needless to say we were not intoxicated and only like to laugh...we are very happy go lucky people...Not impressed at all with this company nor...
Read moreAvoid this place if you can. It's just a counter attached to a gas station. When I arrived, there was one customer patiently waiting, a few cars in the drive through, and four young employees working. I waited at the cash register for around 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. In the meantime, the other customer eventually received her order, and she was barely out of earshot before the employees began to insult her in front of me. They voiced their displeasure that customers were actually ordering, and they had to make drinks. There was nothing but a counter and three feet of space between me in the customer area and them in the open kitchen.
A young man arrived for his shift, clocked in, and greeted me. He was very pleasant and seemed embarrassed by the figurative dumpster fire burning around him. They only had about six kinds of doughnuts, and they were clearly mislabeled. He tried to identify what they were so I could order a half dozen when another employee interrupted and explained that their baker quit. I don't think Dunkin has actually baked doughnuts in any of their stores in decades, and I assume no one else was willing to thaw and glaze whatever product they had in their freezer. While the new employee was trying to clean up the mess to make my coffee, one employee instructed him to make a croissant sandwich for her instead while yet another employee went outside for a smoke. As I waited for my coffee, an employee said, "I don't know why people are coming here. It's not even good." She was correct. The doughnuts were stale. Lesson learned. Take it from the people who work there, it's not even good and they don't...
